Romo's Tex Mex

The food was delicious. The prices are good and staff is really nice. They even have a little souvenir shop. The only thing I thought could be improved is maybe the atmosphere, some background light music would be nice. Don't hesitate to stop in this wonderful restaurant, you'll get out full and happy!

Good luck catching them open. Sunday shows open til 8:00 pm. Door says they close @ 3:00. Arrived at 2:30 and was told the kitchen was closed. There where 10+ cars in the parking lot. Greeter just said they had been really busy. I would think that's what most owners would hope for. They do have good food but the hours are not set hours. We have had this happen on other occasions. Sometime they just lock the door even if they show to be open for another hour.

This was a pleasant surprise that we are going to visit more often. We were looking for a place to have a Mother's Day meal, but it was SHSU graduation weekend and the restaurants in Huntsville were slammed, so we headed north. Complimentary chips and salsa, plus an avacodo cream dip. Bright and open interior, with window walls to section off areas as they stepped down the hill, so the couples in the upper area did not hear so much of our crew. Service was friendly, and owner was engaged with operations.
