Wonderful friendly staff and chilled atmosphere. Beautiful interior decoration, including local art and charms made by the staff. Delicious cakes and paninis, with gluten free, vegetarian, and vegan options available. There are 50+ different types of tea to choose from with dairy alternatives available if you need them!
They also have a "suspended drinks" fund, which allows customers to choose to pay extra so someone else can come and get a drink or something to eat from that pool of money.
Since the local newsagents closed, they took on the papers and now sell them outside the shop. (They have a good range of different papers and magazines.)
I highly recommend their milkshakes and iced tea!
Suitable for both locals and tourists.

What a lovely cafe this is. Lovely people generous to a fault. I spent two week working in Totnes as a stone mason. I used the cafe on a daily basis and return when ever I’m in town to enjoy good food and a good cuppa. The best way to start the day. Best regards. Badger & Rodney the Irish water spaniel

I'm a stone mason and visited here daily whilst working near by. Lively people. Sociable,carers for the community. Honest and the prices are very affordable. You can learn muchabour the local area here and enjoy a vast range of hot and cold drinks and exerlant food served with a smile, I'll certainly make the effort to pop on again to see John & Eve.

Lovely little cafe, tucked away next to happy Apple. Always a joy when I visit this cafe. There are some lovely delicious food to choose from on the menu which caterers for most diets. The homemade cakes are also a delight. The owner is always friendly and down to earth. Highly recommend.

Amazing cafe. Hands down the cheapest place to grab a cuppa but don't let that fool you into thinking the wrong way here. The hosts and service here are bloody brilliant and the relaxed atmosphere is so welcoming after a stroll up the high street.
