Love Chix

I was craving some fried chicken.... boy oh boy!!! Did Love Chix satisfy!!! It has a family Cheers sports bar feel, with friendly bartenders to make sure you have all you need. Got the bucket by the pound, fires and coleslaw. I highly recommend it and will be back for more! So worth it! By the way the house dip sauce for the chicken is amazing!!! 🙌👏👏

Ok so Love Chix’s is my favourite chicken spot. Specifically, the Fried Chicken with honey hot sauce. I like to get my sauce on the side and dip the chicken in. Parm fries are good, but they added Cajun fries and they’re much better with homemade ketchup🤩 The chicken sandwich is nice aswell. It’s funny I never actually been to the main location, first tried it at assembly chef and then during Covid I would always ordered it and still do. I hope to actually come in soon.10/10 would recommend

Delicious, quality food at reasonable prices, with extremely friendly service - can’t ask for much more than that. Ordered the fried chicken (comes with ~5 pieces in a sweet and spicy sauce), cauliflower and beet salad. Everything was tasty and perfectly cooked. The drink was off-menu and created on the spot by the bartender when I asked for something non-alcoholic. It’s some mixture of ginger beer, passion fruit and who knows what else...it was great! Definitely my new go-to chicken place.

A very chic looking restaurant and had very good music playing. The restaurant was clean and had a nice feel on the inside. Ordered the fried chicken burger and the salad and both were delicious. The burger was simple but delicious and the fries were amazing as well. The smashed potatoes are also a more wholesome and snacky side to have in place of the fries. The salad was very decorative with bacon, avocado, lettuce, tomatoes and egg. Overall an excellent place to eat with my only issue being the serving time was a little long and that it can seem a little pricey but still a wonderful place to eat good food.

Would not recommend getting this for take out. Firstly the lunch menu on the website is not valid on weekends but it does not state that anywhere. Secondly, the fried chicken sandwich is very messy, for some reason the sauce is a gloopy mess. Luckily I didn't have to spend a long time driving before reaching my destination, otherwise the fried chicken would've been soggy instead of crunchy. Thirdly, they really should rethink the packaging, the styrofoam on the fries is all melted. Honestly not that happy considering it sandwich and fries cost$21 + tax

Swiss Chalet for Hipsters... Nice job! Restaurant is definitely an upgrade from the previous tenant. The food was great, various takes on chicken from the standard Quarter/Half/Whole to various other tapas and large plate options. I had the whole chicken (don't judge, I took half of it home for leftovers). It was juicy and tasty, just like that "other rotisserie chicken place." They have a great beer menu with a selection of local craft brews in a can and several guest taps. The service was great... very attentive and friendly. A little more intro the menu might have been nice. The interior of the restaurant is also nicely done. Lots of spots at the bar, some high tables at the front to be in the action, and some low tables for more of a cozy dinner in the back.

Very grateful that they fulfilled my take out order even though it was slightly after closing. I could see people enjoying the beautifully lit patio while I picked up my order of chicken, Brussels sprouts and Mac and cheese. Everything was perfect and the pick up was seamless. Excited to try the house sausage and sauerkraut they had available for pick up in their fridge.
