Wonderful local pub! We came here for dinner, and this local pub is clean, and cozy inside! Most importantly, the staff is friendly and the food is fantastic. It’s nice to have a pub that is updated with good quality food so close to home. We will definitely be back!

Staff is a smiling, professional and very welcoming. The food was exceptional. Everything is homemade and made on demand. The tomato bisque was top notch (as good as a grandma dish). The burgers were tasty and the meet very tender. The price for such quality food is very reasonable. The atmosphere is very chill vibes, very comfy and the room looks very tidy and clean.

We had the absolute pleasure of The Irv food truck at our charity golf tournament. They provided 150 golfers with some of the best food and drink they've ever had. From sliders to poutine to mini club sandwiches and even fresh hot pretzel loafs to fresh chocolate desserts it was exceptional. They hosted a beer sponsored hole and a Margarita hole. If we asked for something they over delivered. The staff were friendly and courteous and just simply amazing. They made a 12 hour gold day fly by. I highly recommend you get in touch with them whether for the truck or the restaurant or anything you can think of. Regan and the team will be hosting my golf tournament and every event I have for many years to come. We appreciate all the support they showed our foundation tournament and can't thank them enough. Cheers to the next event!

Good place to grab a bite. Could enjoy the terrace in the evening thanks to a spot nearby the fire. Good was good and tasty, perfect with a lager on the side, and the portion was big enough!

If you're looking for a friendly vibe, cozy place, and delicious homemade food. This is your place! Every time I've stepped foot in the establishment I am greeted with a smile, "take a seat wherever you'd like", the place is always bustling, sports games on on the background. Can't suggest this place enough.

November 2021: A solid onion soup with croutons and cheese followed by a delicious fall off the bone lamb shank. Although I found the soup a tad on the sweeter side of the scale, it was full of onions and flavour. On their own, the mashed potatoes are excellent and the carrots were done to perfection. Another win for the kitchen Staff. August 2021B: Better hurry! Lobster Fest ends on the 22nd. Dinner of Steak & lobster was great although I would have preferred mash potatoes over the roasted. But it did the job. Steak medium rare...to my liking...tasty grilled corn but the lobster tail could have used some cutting prior to serving or hand me the scissors. Fork and steak knife make it a messy job. The place is super busy and the heat is on in the kitchen...and anywhere you sit inside. Come on now. If you're going to leave the A/C off in a 35C+ heat wave, at least get a couple of floor fans to move the air around...Sheesh. August 2021A: It's lobster week at The Irv so you better hurry if you enjoy the tender meat a lobster has to offer. From the full course Surf & Turf to grilled cheese, rolls, burger and more. Delicious! April 2021: Pandemic BBQ Take Out never tasted so good. The ribs, beef brisket, potato salad, coleslaw and the beer! You'll be gnawing on the bones. They had me a block away with their smoky goodness. June 2019: For a creamy, decadant, luxurious and rich treat, try The Skillet. Extra toast will help in getting every last drop. April 2019: Ribs for dinner. These are NOT your Swiss Chalet type gnaw on the bone for lack of meat ribs. Better be hungry. Served with fries, creamy coleslaw and beans. Have a pint, wine or other to help wash it all down. Take your time and don't forget to breathe. 2019: Prime Rib dinner turns into shredded beef. Although an absolutely beautiful and full meal at 19 dollars, the idea your prime rib dinner comes shredded and well cooked vs the thick sliced cooked to order ie: medium rare, fails to impress. That said, the kitchen did a great job with what they have. Now could we just change the name on the menu to what it really is? *** Super friendly owner operated with a variety of beers and attentively made food. With a friend for a mid afternoon pint and some 4 hours and full meals with appetizers later we saw ourselves heading home. We could have stayed to close the place down but I had to feed the cat. I am owned. The drink list is respectable with local beers, house made cocktails and they have Boodles Gin...a "proper" Winston Churchill fave...but horror, no Tanqueray. Oh well, c'est la vie. Following in their local menu, the wine list is limited to the Niagara Region so don't expect a Shiraz to make the cut. PS: I don't know of anyone who will readily admit to drinking Niagara wine or California for that matter. And don't get me started on those paid for "awards." The patio could use an umbrella or two but facing east and UV rays aside, the sun quickly heads over the rooftop. *** 2014: First visit. Brunch for two. Inside this Gastro Pub provides you with two rooms of low and high tables to suit your seating preference. With windows on two sides, you get plenty of light. The bathrooms are at the back with stairs leading to the basement. A large screen TV hangs over the steps showing sports shows such as soccer...sorry...football. The Big Irv, a breakfast that will satisfy a truckers' hunger or mine, will also satisfy your taste buds. Quality is apparent in every dish. Cushions are provided to make your stay that much more enjoyable. This place is a gem and looking forward to trying every dish.

Nice little pub with a good selection of draught on tap. Burger was done just right and fish&chips were excellent; the grilled ceaser salad was perfect, tasty combo of bacon, croutons and lemony dressing. Great moment for a 1st patio day in TO.
