Gino's

The food is usually good, if you can get through. The people seem inconvenienced when you show up. Like they want your money but don't want you to actually come get the food. And make sure you order more than an hour before they close. For some reason they won't make your food or will cancel your order if it's an hour before they close. My wife called today at 8:30pm. The website said they close at 9. She was told sorry, it's too close to closing for us to make your pizza. It doesn't take 30 minutes to make a pizza. I'll go spend a few bucks less for slightly worse pizza but guaranteed they won't act like these people.

Something changed with ingredients, this pizza is awful, too much pepperoni and over cooked to where it’s tough to eat. I have family members with dentures and they couldn’t eat it. I called in and asked if I can get a discount or a replacement for when I order again and the lady said no, that I would have to come now and get a replacement. I have no vehicle to get back up there and the traffic was awful getting there. What a waste of 11$ Gino’s just needs to close it locations. You are never open and never have enough employees to run the place just give up. I won’t be returning ever again. Pizza Hut or papa johns is where I’ll go from now on. Thanks Gino’s for the great customer service.

If I could give the location on Alexis no stars I definitely would. The lady was very rude to me and her Demeanor spoke down on me. I went to pay for my order and she said my card declined twice. I knew funds where available but to be sure I checked anyways… Funds there… I asked well how did you swipe the card .. she said we don’t get a option here we swipe it and either it accepts or declines… then she proceeded to tell me that the card must not be activated.. I said yes it is, I’ve used this card before. Then she says well there must not be any funds on it and I said yes there are funds on it… then she says well do you have another way of paying for it or do you want to to put it back because I have a line behind you, I dipped off on her without replying … I went down the street to Marco where I had no issues with the same card! Her whole attitude was like she was irritated and messed up. You shouldn’t treat people nor customers in a rude way. I refused to spend money there!

I live near this location on Alexis road and order quite frequently from here. Ginos Pizza is a great Toledo pizza company and there pizza’s are amazing no matter what your flavor is. The people here are always nice and hard working as they make a lot of pizzas because everyone knows how good it is. They even have a drive through which is convenient to run by on way home. Great local business and they support the other locals which I love!
