Golden Koi

This place is carryout only. Came here for the first time as I've had the taste for Chinese food, but haven't had any luck finding someplace with good food. Woman on phone was friendly and had patient with me as I navigated the menu. I ordered the salt and pepper fried ribs, beef fried rice and 3-shrimp spring rolls. The ribs were tender and had a great flavor. A few pieces had too much fat. They could do a better job trimming it. Fried rice wasn't bad. It was fairly moist. I ordered with extra onion. Could have had a little more meat. Spring rolls were good. I plan on returning. Hope the food is consistently good.

I ordered the Mongolian Beef with fried rice, an egg roll and egg drop soup. I asked for my meal to be extra spicy but it could have been hotter. However, the sauce had good flavor. I normally am not a fan of egg rolls but theirs was delicious. Typically they have too much breading for me but this restaurant makes up for it by overloading it with cabbage. They are giant egg rolls! I would come here again and try a different dish.

Absolutely the best Chinese food in the city! I used to be a regular here due to how closely I worked, and would get my lunch here as often as possible. Now, multiple years later I'm so happy that the place is just as good, if not better, than I remember. Additionally, the service is impeccable as well. Our waitress was the absolute nicest lady. Extremely personable and friendly! If you're looking for amazing food you can rely on for cheap, this is the place!

Do not eat here! The food here is terrible! Very salty and slimy chicken. We ordered three different things and all were horrible. We ordered the garlic chicken, shrimp fried rice and general Tso chicken. The friend rice was nothing but rice sautéed in Soy sauce. Very bad Chinese food, I do not recommend.

I went and ate the food was good, customer service not so great. I asked a question and the waitress told me to be quiet. My family had a conversation a bit too loud and the waitress was right there, she later went back to the kitchen and comes back after a while, a couple minutes after I look back and see the chefs and owner looking through the glass trying to see if anything else happens. I did not feel comfortable and upset. Again great food but not the greatest customer service.

I was in town for the night with a few friends and we decided to order some food a little later at night. We had a pretty big order for delivery (6-7 dishes, plus apps, soups..) Golden Koi got everything correct, gave us plenty of silverware, soy sauce, fortune cookies, etc. The lady on the phone was extremely patient and kind when my friends kept switching what they wanted. They brought it within 45 minutes. The food was delicious and we could not have been happier with the service we were given. If you are in the area and are looking to order delivery, I would most definitely recommend!
