Starbucks

This is a great location to meet up with folks but the staff cranks the music so loud that you cannot hear yourself think much less have a conversation. The excruciating decibels require people to shout to be heard. Asked if they could please lower the volume staff said they could “but it would be a while”. No other Starbucks I've been to has the music this loud. I's just too loud.

Well, I ordered ahead...waited in a long line, it was very busy. Finally got up to the drive thru window and they didn't have the coffee I wanted, Blonde Espresso, chose Blonde Veranda instead, ground. Got a caramel Frappuccino, the people were very apologetic for not having what I wanted but the Frappuccino was very good and the service was outstanding. Considering the huge drive thru line and all the foot traffic inside, I'll be back...to coin a phrase.

Such a great staff. Made a personal connection with a tired and stressed employee who lived just up the street from me in an area of Southern California where I had a house during a difficult time in my life and left to start a new journey of my own. It's very possible I know your parents....lol You weren't even born when I was living there or just a toddler at best. Hang in there. Life is tough nowadays, stay strong. Check out the East Coast we are a lot more loving and close knit there. Blue collar workers are family oriented and hard working. We stick together and have each other's back. That's the difference between a Democrat and a Republican. Not color or race, not whether we made mistakes in our younger days because every single one of has skeletons in our closet. Less than impressed. I plan on driving out of my way for another Starbucks as of today. Lately every order of mine has been messed up and that’s ALWAYS seems to happen when they shut the lobby down (which is pretty often) and I’m forced to go through the drive thru. And the drive thru wait time when the lobby is closed is ridiculous! When my orders get messed up in the drive thru I’m stuck with them because I can’t go into the lobby and have it corrected. And when I do go into the lobby I always see someone behind the counter checking their phones while there’s a line of people waiting to be served. Very disappointing and lazy service.
