One thing I dont like is when people think they are obligated for a tip ,people need to earn it. we got charged a tip for picking up our order and had no choice and at check out they asked if we want to give an additional tip. That's just crazy people shouldn't have to tip on pickup orders unless they want to. Also the food Togo is smaller portion then of we would've sat in. I think that it is unfair of them to tell us one price over the phone and when we showed up they tell us a price about 8$ more. I will not be eating here anymore . I dont want to support a stealing restaurant. Additionally last time we dined in. They took forever and didn't have half of what was on the menu

Home-style, freshly cooked meals that taste great. Simple, out in the country atmosphere and friendly service. Everyone was very nice and helpful. We had a great lunch of Smokey Fries, Chicken Sandwich, Country-fried chicken w/ gravey along sides of collards, mac-and-cheese, and garlic mashed potatoes. They also sell honey at this restaurant, so I bought some of it, too. Would definitely recommend this place when in the Temple, GA area.

Seriously some of the best food, nothing is bad on Phil's menu! My personal favorite is the calabash fried chicken and fried green tomatos. My husband loves the wings, and home made ranch. The sea tea and southern food is worth the drive, and prices and portions are amazing. Everytime I head toward west ga, I find a reason to add this stop to my list of to dos. The decor is laid back here, your not there for fancy rooms and tables this place is about the food. 😊

Everytime we eat here we are impressed with how delicious the food is! Best country cooking place around! The size of the meals is just right for the price. The meats are fresh, and you can tell a lot of effort and passion for flavor were put into the preparation. The sauces are house made and scrumptious. The buns on their sandwiches are also fresh and fluffy. This has become our new favorite spot on the weekends. *Get the fried green tomatoes with spicy ranch!!
