Had probably one of the worst experiences I’ve ever had at a sushi restaurant. The sushi was not fresh at all. My friend had a piece of his and shared a few with us to try. The fried rice tasted like a spoon of garlic powder. My friend suddenly wasn’t feeling ok and looked ill. When we mentioned to the waitress about the quality of the food she sent the sushi chef over. After we told her how it tasted she had said the she can not refund us the money for the food and can only take half off because we had a few pieces. She also suggested that maybe my friend was ill before we came out to eat. She was in no way taking what we said seriously or even doing anything about it. Even after when I got home I felt a little sick as well. Would never come back here again. It’s one thing to have the food not be good but it’s another to have such terrible customer service.

Went about a month ago. Food came INCREDIBLY slow. The excuse was that the chef (the husband) was away at a sushi convention. Our waitress was awesome. She deserves to find a better place to work, whose food is a match for her great service. Two items we ordered for apps they were out of. Chicken wings were way overdone, flavorless (not marinated or anything) and way overpriced. Our scorpion bowl was so overpowered with tequila it was undrinkable. We waited SEVENTY FIVE minutes for our sushi. There was one other table there when we arrived, and we were there for two hours!!! Not because we wanted to, but because our sushi took so long. We ordered three rolls. Our son’s sesame chicken was made from frozen chicken nuggets. They were absolutely not freshly battered and fried. Overall, I was in shock at how bad our experience was. Our poor waitress... she needs to find another job.

I have tried MANY sushi restaurants and I absolutely love this restaurant. This is a regular spot for me and my husband. Literally the best sushi I have ever had. Their food is really fresh, the restaurant is clean and service is top notch. They are very personable. They also deliver. If you're planning to have dinner I would advise to call ahead because it take a little longer than most places due to how fresh the food is.
