Undergrounds Java/deli

This place is great, the best sandwiches I have had. It is not in the most easy to find location but it is worth it and I highly recommend visiting. The owner of the store has always been there when I go in and he has given me several samples that definitely have influenced my decision. I loved the Garlic Chicken Sandwich.

Incredibly kind staff and owner, very personable - not the typical "small talk" but an actual genuine conversation which I really enjoyed. I can tell that the owner really cares about each and every customer, even with it being my first time in. I had a sandwich - turkey bacon avocado - and a mocha, both very delicious. The sandwich is huge and I could only eat half of it, they really pack it full of good stuff! The coffee is tasty, they use a chocolate that is unlike any mocha I have tasted and it's so good! I am surprised more people don't know about this place, it's amazing!

A hidden gem in this office complex, so good! Very friendly workers (I think he was the owner or manager), they all seemed happy to work here. Nice, clean, cozy furniture. Awesome healthy choices, and 5 people were all extremely happy with their meals. I will be going out of my way to take people here. It's perfect for a lunch meet-up. And they deliver!

Very Affordable, Variety, Fresh, Delicious! A small delightful cafe w/ espresso. Very affordable. The owner has put a lot of thought into making the atmosphere feel fresh and comfortable. They offer a wide selection of snacks, drinks, breakfast and lunch options all day. The staff are friendly. My favorite food is sandwiches and I can be pretty picky so it means something when I say this place makes excellent sandwiches! I recommend the Italian. The ingredients are very fresh, very good. I can't say enough how great this place is. I love it! Can be hard to find if you don't know where to look. It's on the ground floor of the Tacoma Mall Office Building across the parking lot from Nordstroms. It's easiest to reach from the back entrance to the building. It has green curtains in the windows

Absolutely fantastic hidden gem with delicious sandwiches. It's a little hard to find but worth the effort. If you're in the parking lot of the mall walk towards and then past the army recruiting office to a nondescript entrance. Go inside and walk downstairs. Undergrounds is at the base of the stairs. Kurt, the owner, is a gregarious and delightful guy who loves his sandwiches almost as much as he loves how much customers enjoy them. He'll happily offer you up tasty samples and talk your ear off about the virtues of each of his lovingly crafted sandwiches. We had the Italian and the BLT, both of which were phenomenal.
