I absolutely love Sumera! This is my first time here, and the whole experience is AMAZING. I had the sharwarma sandwiches. It tasteee so good. The ingredients are fresh, and it was so meaty. For the place, it is very clean and comfy. The staffs were also commendable. I can't wait to go back here.

This was our first feast at Sumera and we were very pleased! The food was very good and that's even after a long delivery wait (which was our expectation through grub hub). Everything tasted fresh, was well made and the amount of food we received compared to the cost of the dishes was a breath of fresh air in our inflation time period.
The biggest highlight for me was the lamb gyro. Not only was the lamb perfectly made. The pita bread it was on was a star. Something about its soft and fluffy texture and taste held the structure of the packed sandwich so well but made every bite so much better than the last.
The grilled veggies on rice were awesome as well and thankful to have that option as it isn't always easy to find an option like this and they were great!
So I'm definitely in for another try and I hope you can also Enjoy!!

Third visit.
This place has changed for better. Everything was in order and the food tasted much better. The staff were great and quick.
[My second visit] There was a new waitress who didn't seem very courteous. We had to wait a long time before we got served. Then we ordered tea. It took 20 minutes before we ask again. But the tea was really good. The service is really not satisfactory. The waitress should be smiling at customers.
[My first visit] The food is good and the price is reasonable. The only thing is that it takes a while before you get the food.

I believe this place is much better now. Taste of chicken tika over rice is out of this world and salad fultush is something with Great taste.. must try that
Restaurant shows cultural background with 7/10 service, clean and friendly.
A lot of things have been removed from their menu so please make sure if they are still serving the old dishes.

Our family loves authentic middle eastern food. We tried Sumera, and found it to be fantastic. The food was as authentic as it comes, was obviously freshly prepared and tasted delicious. The restaurant was decorated nicely and the service was fast and friendly. See pictures for food options. Highly recommended.

Great chicken and beef shawarma plate. Everything was cooked to order, juicy and fresh. I also couldn’t resist a order of pistachio nut baklava!

You must try their knafeh nabulsi! It's a cheesy dessert that's out of this world! All the food here from the dolma (rice wrapped in grape leaves) to the falafel to the fruit juices are to die for. All the food here is wonderful, and you must go.

First time trying out this Middle Eastern in the Westvale Plaza .... ' off the hook !! " ... Placed a cup of steaming lentil soup down in front us .... w/o asking ... Everybody gets it !!! Started with plates of favorites , grape leaves , falafel , hummus and pita bread .... All outstanding .... Then this pile of lamb and rice , was set down in the middle of the table with tasty tahini sauce .... Like nothing I've ever had before .... Tender chunks of lamb , with long grain rice , tasty veggies and exotic spices !!!!! UNBELIEVABLE .... My wife and I could NOT finish half of it and I'm a BIG eater , so 3 boxes filled for tomorrow's lunch ... Then the check .... 25 Bucks ????? WTFudge ..... This place is awesome !!!

Absolutely blown away by the food. SO delicious. The atmosphere was bright and happy and busy. The service was attentive, friendly and kind. We FINALLY have an astounding Middle Eastern restaurant on the West side of Syracuse! The hummus and falafels are not to be missed - and the seasoning in the 'beef potatoes chops' was outstanding. Everything was amazing, right down to the pickles! We can't wait to go back. Thanks for a wonderful experience, Sumer!
