Starbucks

Asked for Water with ice and to add strawberries. I get this almost everyday with the bacon Gruyère egg bites. The water + strawberries is usually .80 cents. Today the girl taking orders around 8:40am decided to charge me for a Strawberry Açaí Refresher. She removed the strawberry base, charged me for EXTRA WATER, and an extra scoop of strawberries. She said it’s company policy 😂 someone please tell me if it’s Starbucks company policy to rip people off.

1. Low quality coffee. They had my 2 coffee cups open and half done while the lady was rinsing stuff that she was using for other drinks and going over my drinks, it was dripping all over it, disgusting. I didn’t feel comfortable of saying anything because I was afraid of being given attention for the second time. 2. Really bad costumer service. 3. Poorly trained staff. The staff is a joke, you can’t ask or say anything without them giving you attitude or laughing at each other.

My boyfriend and I went to this Starbucks to use the washroom and get a drink around 8pm. I used the washroom and then realized there was no toilet paper in my bathroom so I called my boyfriend and he said there was none in his washroom either. He went to the staff and let them know that I was in the washroom and there was no toilet paper in either washroom. The woman he told just looked at another staff member because he was supposed to have filled it I guess. She then turned back to my boyfriend and said “ok”, looked at him for several more seconds and then asked him if he would like to order anything. My boyfriend told her he would like to deal with this first before ordering, so she told the male staff member to get the toilet paper. He gets the toilet paper and then saunters passed my boyfriend, so my boyfriend follows him and the staff member starts putting the toilet paper in the other washroom. The female staff member comes over and asks where he is and what he’s doing. Finally the female staff member takes a roll of toilet paper from him and gives it to my boyfriend. My boyfriend said it seemed like the staff members were laughing about the situation as well. Neither of us got any apology of any kind. We did not buy anything from this restaurant because of this situation/interaction.

Sometimes my coffee comes out good. I always order an iced caramel macchiato. Sometimes, it just tastes like milk... I'm paying $6 for milk. The service has become worse by the day. I still go here SOMETIMES because the convenience. I guess it's a good thing they helped me cut back on my coffee drinking because the coffee is so expensive. Sometimes I go and hope for the best. But, I order a venti .. get a grande .. I order extra caramel .. don't see any caramel .. etc. I've noticed many Starbucks going downhill. But, this one now .... the staff doesn't even greet you .. they don't smile .. absolutely horrible service, horrible coffee, the price / wait time is not even worth it anymore.

Normally I wouldn’t write a review, good or bad. However, the inconsistency in the making of their coffee needs to be talked about. Yesterday I ordered a Irish cream cold brew, it was perfect. It had a dusting of powdered cocoa, the cream was perfect and sweet. However, today… there wasn’t any powdered cocoa and zero sweetness. If I am going to continue to pay $6-$7 for a coffee please keep it consistent. Next time I will refuse the coffee and ask for it to be remade.
