You won't go to Ben's for the ambiance, but the staff was friendly, efficient, kind, and attentive during our visit. We ordered a stromboli and hoagie to go and shared a Caesar salad while we waited. The dressing was excellent, getting our meal off to a good start. The hoagie was authentic...perfect meatballs and sauce. The stromboli was so good I told my wife it tastes like it was made with magic. Honestly, the best I've had in over a decade...perhaps ever. Unexpected food quality and flavors coming from such an unassuming little family establishment. It's right off of the 303, so easy to drop by. We will definitely be back. Checkered tablecloths and better lighting and this place could compete (and win) with the best Italian restaurants in the Phoenix area.

I saw a lot of reviews saying this place is greasy, they're crazy. I got a XL pepperoni, 20 wings and cheese sticks for$44. It was ON POINT! the price is outstanding, the food quality is Supreme, and the ranch is super legit. The kid working the front was attentive, courteous, and efficient. This is definitely my new go-to!

Owner is personable and kind, we went early on a Saturday with two rowdy toddlers. He never made us feel guilty as we chased them around and made sure they got some drinks with their meal. Little gem in Surprise, first time here but will definitely come back again. Pizza and garlic knots were delicious!

We just recently moved to Arizona and it's been great. Ben's pizza reminds me of new York style pizza with 6 larger slices to the pie. The food is great and its a no frills atmosphere. Nick ,the owner,came out of the kitchen to talk with us .his son and daughter were friendly and helpful .please support this family run business, you won't be disappointed.

We order Bens pizza at least a couple time a month! The food is amazing it’s always fresh and reasonably priced! We have the wings garlic knots and pizza from here and all have been amazing! The garlic knots are some of the best I’ve had in a while on this side of town! If you’ve been wanting to try a new pizza place, definitely give Ben’s a try you won’t be disappointed! Everybody I’ve recommended this pizza place to loves it. Obviously the reviews speak for themselves!

If you are looking for a great NY style pizza pie, Ben's is the place to order it from. I have only had one pizza that wasn't up to par and that was only because the pizza dough had been over mixed. Outside of that, the pizzas that I have ordered are fantastic. I have had a calzone as well, delicious! Full of cheese, ricotta and mozzarella. It did need more than a souffle cup of dipping sauce though.
