Frontera

My wife and I really love Frontera. It's a chain but the food is way better than your typical chain restaurant. My wife a wonderful steak dinner with fried panella cheese and grilled vegetables. I had the tamales. They were very good but they are fash fried. Good but not how I prefer tamales. There is a nice sized, fully stocked bar with lots of TV's. Drop in, have a Margarita and annoying the game. Be sure to stop by and enjoy some savory Tex-Mex treats!

Last week, we were here and at the time, I left one star without the review. Here is my review for last week- This was my first time here. The food was good. The host person was nice and friendly. However, the waiter wasn't nice, very rushy and abrupt with us. I was thinking the waiter was having a bad day but then I saw the waiter's interaction with other customers, he was friendly and nice to them.

Always grab food and take out from here for the past ten yrs…kids love it. But this will be my last trip…called the sugar hill location for a solid 30-40 mins to place and order..kept getting sent to voice mail which was full…I was calling because my last on line order was not correct. Finally got someone to answer the phone and take my order…while I was pulling into the parking lot and had to wait 30 mins for 2 cheesto burritos and a #23…the restaurant had 3 tables but they were to over whelmed to simply pick up the phone and say please hold we are short staff…frustrating…especially when I walk in and there is only three tables.

My wife and I love coming to frontera but with one exception, they have a male waiter that ignores us and rushes us after making us wait for 10 mins. We already know what we want and he asked us what we want and as soon as we tell our drinks he runs away and helps someone else without letting us finish our order. We wait another 10 minutes before he comes back. We love this place it only takes 1 to ruin a place.
