Could be good if someone cared enough about the people that are paying a fortune for over priced food. Rude staff, long wait times. Unfortunately you don't have many other options if you are staying at the Lodge. I'd recommend, having a drink there, but getting your own food and cooking in your room. We ate here 3 times and each time was equally bad and possibly the worst dining experience we've had in 2 years of living in New England. Why 3 visits? No other choices, it was thanksgiving so we were desperate for a dining experience, and each time we hoped it might be a fluke that it was so bad. I gave it 1 more star than it should because it has a nice fire.

Dreadful. There are very few food options at the mountain which aren’t cafeterias so we tried Hourglass. I had the chicken sandwich which was bland. My boyfriend had the burger which was also nothing to write home about. Two bland mains and two beers each - $80!!! Avoid! After that experience we avoided lunch at Stowe mountain completely and had a late lunch at Matterhorn instead. Way better food and half the price.
