Shamrock And Thistle

All waffle menus are great! Nutella coffee was brilliant.! However: In google review, the most important thing is that checking the “recent review”. We expected nice breakfast waffle, however most menus are disappeared. We had all Nutella menus at 10am. Too much sugar caused high blood pressure all day. If we visit here after lunch, it would be perfect day.

Had an amazing first visit to the Shamrock and Thistle cafe! I had a sweet crepe called The Wee Brill Gill and my partner had a savoury waffle called The Stoney Stacker, we also both had tea which was served as loose tea, which was a pleasant surprise. The cafe is small but has great character and follows covid restrictions. The lady that served us, was very friendly and attentive, especially as we couldn't decide what to have (too many great options to choose from). We were in Stonehaven for a visit, the cafe was a great find and now finding an excuse to visit Stonehave again.

Great cafe. A little on the small side so can be hard to get a table - best to try around 10/11am or later in the afternoon. Crepes and waffles are same price which is a bit annoying as you get more for your money with the waffle! Both totally delicious nonetheless. Staff are brilliant and the hot drinks are amazing, especially the chai latte!

Amazing place, went above and beyond after I called on the same day asking for gluten free when usually they need to know 24 hours before (for the right ingredients) the owner/manager/staff member called me right back saying they would sort it out for the gluten free tummy, so we were sitting down within 20 minutes with a cup of tea and a very scrumptious gluten free waffle. Everyone should give this place a try the staff were A+ polite & helpful And of course the waffles.....Amazing!!! Thanks guys...
