Rang Indian Bistro

This place smells AMAZING every time I drive by. I've eaten here several times over 4 months and every time I am more than impressed. Pati (I hope I am spelling that right) Is a very attentive and humble restaurant owner that I am always pleased to see when I come by to pick up or eat in. Make sure you order a mango lassi!! Easily my favorite smoothie! The food is always prepped perfectly and quickly brought out no matter how busy it is. Even if it did take some time the cozy atmosphere and immaculately presented dishes truly cement this restaurant as a Stoneham staple that will make sure to frequent often. But don't take my word for it, stop by and experience this wonderful spot yourself!

I didn’t have high expectations going into this place. The flavors were decent, though. Portion sizes were very small compared to what I normally get at other Indian restaurants. Especially for the price. Service was abysmal. Our table was not given enough rice at the beginning so I asked for more rice. We made it through our dinner before getting more rice. Appetizer was brought out with our meals. Drinks weren’t refilled. Server never came to check on the table. It’s not as if they were busy. There was one couple that came in shortly after us, otherwise the place was empty.

I went there with family today, literally none of what we ordered was close to be just ok. Everything was below average- samosa chat, dal, chicken curry, butter chicken and even tandoori roti felt bitter in taste. We had totally opposite experience when we visited this place 2 months back, not sure what changed. Last time our food at this place was fresh and delicious. But today i felt i wasted over $150 for garbage.

This is a nice Indian restaurant. The place is comfortable. Staffs are polite. Food is good and spiciness can be customized. Garlic naan is very tasty. Chicken reshmi kabab is my all time favorite. Lamb vindaloo, okras, roasted eggplant, and Uttapam pancake are good too. Mango lasso, the Mango yogurt drink, is my favorite drink. We received complimentary veggie pakoras as sample appetizer and rice pudding with pistachio as sample dessert. Yummy! We also tried chicken biryani and fish curry which I think just okay. Will try other dishes next time. Free parking is available across the street.
