Can be excellent 80% of time but when dissatisfied or disappointed then can be very disgruntled last 2 visits have had inferior dry flat tail end cod zero taste and still have to pay top end money for fish n chip supper. Also on last visit witnessed something very alarming and wonder just how often this happens here like know it happens in other eating establishments. Young lady in back room cleaning and scraping floor of dropped food etc. order came into shop for a cheeseburger with just lettuce and tomato. Lady in the back who had just been scraping floor retrieved said cheeseburger from chiller or freezer without washing her hands. Oooh gross Hope customer enjoyed his burger not sure if will visit again now having witnessed this.

Used this chippy for a group of Scouts staying on a nearby site. Phoned ahead, full order was ready bang on time.
Food was great and staff were amazing.

Cash only which threw a spanner in the works slightly. Nearest cash machine is in the co-op up the road which charges £2. The food was good although the curry sauce we had wasn't the best.

Dropped in here for simple chips and gravy on the way home to Stoke from Tamworth.
Absolutely fabulous chips. We sat and munched them in the car while they were still piping hot. Fab. Fab. Fab.

Huge fish portion with perfectly crisp batter, beautifully cooked and thick chips and although it may not be what they are known for, it was possibly the best mixed kebab I've ever had. Great quality all round.

Very tasty and well cooked chips in ample portions, which is the main point of a traditional chippy. We had small cod and all steak pie with ours... hospitable staff, what more is needed?

Went for the first time Friday asked for Large cod and got the biggest fish I have ever seen from a chippie must of been at least a foot long! Batter was nice and crispy. Took a star off as they only took cash.

Most impressed. They're taking Covid precautions seriously, so felt safe. Ordering was easy, menu is clearly displayed and service both friendly and fast.
Most impressed when I got home and opened my package. It looked so good - hence the photo and it tasted as good as it looked.
Beautifully fresh, crisp batter with proper chips and good portions too

Well I popped into Walton fish bar tonight for a piece of fish, I haven't been in there before, there was this lovely looking piece of Haddock so I snapped it up and it was the best piece of fish I've had in years, just as good as being at the seaside, the lady serving stated they have fresh fish delivered daily.
This only means one thing " I will be back "
