Albert's Standish

Arrived on a Friday at 12 noon. Hadn't booked but no problem getting a table. Food and service was superb. Lovely decor and atmosphere.Only downside for me is the discretionary 10% tip which is factored into the bill. No problem paying it but I believe it should be customers perogative. All in all loved it.

Arrived at the Albert's and the car park was full, but we got a space then a little walk to the front of house and I was very impressed as I've never eaten at a Albert's restaurant before, but if you don't get a table you can certainly have a drink or two outside and it's a big area, the Albert's also does functions so ya definitely give this place a try the staff are very friendly and helpful, just one thing check out the SERVICE CHARGE, they won't say anything about it it's just on and if your not expecting it then it mite come as a shock, so anyway enjoy 👍🏻

Really enjoyed my two visits to Albert's. The decor is right up my street - it's luxurious, dark and really sets a brilliant atmosphere. The service was very good - friendly, prompt and nothing was too much bother. The food was delicious! The menu was somewhat limited, but most places are the same at the moment. The food I did have was flavoursome and just enough. I had a bottle of the house cabernet sauvingon and it was perfectly served. Great temperature, really showcasing all the lovely flavours. I was lucky enough to end the night with some cocktails - all made fresh and really hit the spot. If I'm ever in the area in the future, I'll definitely book to visit (which is a wee bit of advice; book ahead, as it gets busy).

Really lovely restaurant and typically a very nice atmosphere. My partner is a coeliac and so can only eat gluten free foods - the options are very limited and the foods for gluten free aren't great. Pizzas were very cardboard like. Other than that food is lovely, drinks are nice however can be pretty expensive. Staff all seem friendly enough however very young and inexperienced regarding the menu and drinks. So needed to keep running inside to asked questions to other members of staff.

Called in for lunch on a weekend away the place looks immaculate. On entering we were greeted with a smile and shown to our table on the covered outside terrace. Our waitress was friendly and attentive talking us through what was and was not available on the menu. We both went for the lunch menu which was greta value considering the quality of the food that was served. Couldn't recommend the place more. Keep doing what you are doing
