Bartaco

My favorite taco spot in Stamford!! Food is always fresh and comes out quick. Service is amazing. All servers are super friendly and attentive. The manager Matt is super accommodating and incredibly friendly. My top picks are always the falafel taco and pork belly taco. I never come here without ordering the plantains ;) the dip that comes with it is so good! It is never too crowded here. Always found good seating. Bar is always free to sit as well. Definitely a continuous lunch spot for me !!

Bartaco is a great place, i've been here twice, the first one on my birthday and order the tahone weel flight and some porkbelly tacos, this was all AWESOME, made me come a second time just all by my own to get more pork belly tacos and some margaritas ( which are just really great, a perfect balance of everything thanks to the bartenders making them just before your eyes) so i want to consider myself as a food critique as I'm a chef and let me tell you that porkbelly tacos here are just awesome. Will be here tons of other times trying new stuff. It isn't expensive as well so its awesome.

I go there every once in a while and love it every single time, my favorite server these last couple times I’ve gone was Jared; he never failed to provide exceptional services. Attentive and personable, all the good qualities a server should have. Thanks for the great service and great food! (Definitely try the fried plantains)

Horrible manager. I had called to join the waitlist, once I came, I figured I had to wait some more for my table which was totally fine. The hostess nor the manager himself did not greet me when I came in, I sat at the bar for about 15 minutes, nobody gave me an update in my table nor was I greeted or checked on. There were two empty tables and I had thought that one of them would be for me, but as I continued waiting I noticed it wasn’t as a party of two (which I was as well) sat down before us. I had asked for an update and the manager with a nasty attitude told me 20 more minutes. Okay cool. after, another party of two sat down and I just realized that clearly, he wasn’t trying to sit us. As soon as I leave, my table is ready and I walk back, it was only THREE MINUTES & he had already cancelled the table. I thought the grace period was 5 minutes. But whatever. The food is great but when management is trash, I don’t plan to ever go to this location again. Very disappointing and the managers attitude was gross, i don’t know how they have him as the face of the restaurant.
