I always have a pleasant experience at this location. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. I went in during the busiest time of day with two work colleagues, we all received our sandwiches very promptly, and with no mistakes! Not that I was expecting any mistakes, It's just worth mention as we all know it happens sometimes during crunch time. I will definitely return again!

Love their sandwiches! Great selection and they will make it any way you want! The sweet bread is the best and ask for it tosted. Makes such a great meal. Their jerk chicken soup is also wonderful!

Simply AWESOME sandwich shop in Springfield, IL with multiple locations. The downtown location is my favorite. Try the tuna on sweet bread (the shop makes its own breads) with pepper jack cheese and jalepeños toasted. Add a bag of chips and a pop. You'll be full for the remainder of the day (and night). 😃

Stopped here today to get sub on my lunch hour. Ordered and asked that the sub get run through the oven twice. Paid the lady and reminded her to put it through twice. She agreed. So 20 minutes later, she asked what I had and I again reiterated. The sandwich wasn't in the oven. Apparently the sandwich maker never made it because it never came out of the oven. No apologies. I was running late and couldn't wait around another 20 minutes so maybe they would make it this time.
Sad, because they do have great subs. There are other local sub shops to eat at thankfully.

I love the Turkey and cheese sandwich cold on white bread, as the white bread is bread from Mel-o-cream here in town, so tasty and sweet and great with the Basics.

amazing sandwiches ! thick-cut deli slices, wonderful bread, toasted (optional) just perfectly . big selection of Jones sodas, as well as a wide selection of soda and water at the drink fountain . nice small selection of soups and fun chip flavors too.
