Sonic Drive-in

I only gave 2 stars because the food is scrumptious. What ISN’T scrumptious is the customer service. A week ago, my boyfriend and I went through the drive through to get ice cream and a slushee. The ice cream was made correctly, but my man’s slushee wasn’t even mixed. My guy hands the slush back to the cashier and before he could even say anything, she says in a tone, “it’s all in there, it just isn’t mixed.” Ummm, what? If we wanted to mix our own slushees, we’d make our own and mix it ourselves. Fast forward to this evening, I ordered on the app. I’m sitting there and Shayna comes out with my food, ice cream and slushee. I am again handed ANOTHER UNMIXED SLUSHEE, and given a poor attitude whenever I requested it to be mixed. I politely said to Shayna, “can I get this mixed please, this is the second slushee I’ve been given that hasn’t been mixed.” Shayna then slightly huffed and took the slushee back, and came back with it mixed but without the Nerds added even though I paid extra for it. Her body language screamed volumes and it was not a pleasant experience. The only employee at this location that does her job correctly and has outstanding customer service is a recently hired girl named Emily (I believe that’s her name). Honestly contemplating driving a bit further for better customer service. 🤷🏻‍♀️

20 minutes for one Hotfudge Sunday!!!!! Absolutely rediculous!!! I pushed the button again to see if maybe they forgot about me and before I could even finish what i was asking I was rudely interrupted and was told "yeah, i just printed it and i am fixing to bring it to you!" And then once I did get the Sunday half of it was melted!! Poor service, poor food, rude employee!!

I ordered a DoorDash from this sonic; called them twice about putting ranch in my order since my DoorDash app was not working. Both times I was told it was in the bag. When i finally got my order, I did not receive ranch. I’m not the type of person to complain over the little things, I understand that they are busy. My main concern is the disrespect and how rude the staff was when I called was unbelievable. They blamed doordash for my order not containing the ranch. I informed them that it wasn’t a big deal but just wanted to let them know that even after two calls they still didn’t get my order right. Never going back to this place again, I’ll take my money elsewhere.

I so wanted to give 5 stars because CONFESSION: I freaking LOVE the qtr lb dbl at this place..... Dont ask me why... I can make a smash burger that would make your "franchises team" head spin...... But none the less I drive through probably once a week at least. Yesterday, January 18th around 10 I got my drink and cheeseburger and it was a very satisfying expierence. The burger was PERFECT! Today, January 19th at roughly 1230 I went through and we got 2 qtr lb dbls and 2 mini banana shakes( id love to say these were for me but I decided to forego a burger two days in a row) and we got 2 half filled cups of banana flavored milk and 2 cheeseburgers that clearly had been cooked hours before. I do not think I will visit this sonic again because for 12$ i expect to at least get what I ordered everytime. Call me selfish.
