Five Guys

Let me tell you a story about a fat guy on a diet and a cheat meal. For the last six weeks I’ve been on a crazy diet. My wife is joining me on this journey of weight loss and lifestyle changes. Today we promised ourselves a 6week cheat meal. So we chose 5 Guys. Mostly for the Cajun fries. Which were excellent by the way. For this cheat meal we got grilled cheese burgers. The most amazing tasting food ever. We are happy with our cheat meal and in another 6 weeks we will do it again. BTW. I’ve lost 20 lbs and my wife has lost 23 lbs.

Five Guys is my go to option for burgers. The restaurant is always clean and simple. Ordering is easy, with many options. Their default is two patties, which is amazing. The burgers seem to meld together and give an amazing taste that I've never found elsewhere. Shout-out to the Cajun fries, which are some of the best fries I've ever had. All in all, five guys is a top option for burgers.

I have to say the French fries were excellent today. Most fries from Five Guys are over cooked and they always seem to give me the small left over bits and pieces of fries. However today was not that day. I got whole length fries and they were cooked perfectly. The sandwich was alright. I did notice a few things that bothered me. Firstly, the staff is very loud. They are talking to each other about absolutely nothing and each are trying to compete with each other for who is the loudest and who can speak over the stereo box. Secondly, I noticed one cashier and five cooks behind the grill area. But not once during the entire time I was here did they come out and clean the floor or tables. So, please clean the tables and floor. Finally the staff are very nice.
