Excellent coffee, nice sarnies, fresh coffee & very friendly staff. Very proactive & efficient regarding food - took order for a toasted teacake, then moved onto drinks order so when the coffee was done, so was the teacake. Sensibly put the butter under the teacake so it warmed enough to spread. Our server was a 'Barista in training' & she was excellent.
Inside was clean & tidy. Staff were swift to clear & clean tables when you left, and did not hover when you were finished. Chilled water was available so you could help yourself.
They had run out of pistachio syrup so I had to have something else but these things happen. Might have been helpful to put a note on the large board advertising flavoured lattes at the entrance but it didn't spoil my visit & doesn't warrant marking them down.

Tried their new festive menu on my last visit (02/11/2023). The Deli Turkey Feast Focaccia was absolutely delicious and I highly recommend it, but the Panettone Latte, though very aromatic and quite festive, leaned a bit too sweet for my tastes! I'll go back to my usual (Luxury Caramelatte) on my next visit.
Despite the long queues outside the door, don't be deterred; the queue always moves swiftly, and the service is impressively fast. The baristas are not only speedy but also knowledgeable and friendly. The interior is beautiful and the atmosphere is great. I would know, I'm here twice a week :)
I'd also highly recommend using the Caffè Nero app for payment, especially if you have a linked Waitrose card, for a discount on their festive range. Remember to bring your own cup for an extra stamp, and if you're a Three network customer, check out the Three+ app for a free drink code every week that can be redeemed for any hot or cold drink.
Caffè Nero is a fantastic coffee shop, and I highly recommend it.

Update July 2023 less busy today with a more relaxed atmosphere too. The coffee was good and the barista was helpful in sorting out my digital vs paper points collection!

Quite busy and therefore noisy but I had my ear pods with me, so all good!
Toasted cheese sandwich was to die for.

I generally prefer the coffee in cafe Nero, what makes this one better still is the friendly staff. Also this one is dogs allowed as well, which is a positive considering they are not allowed in Springfield itself.

Staff are so accommodating. I go in there to work as they always find me a place and bring my drinks, food etc over! I always chose to go here on my own time as well as they are just so helpful and friendly. Great coffee, cold drinks and amazing staff!! 10/10!!!

Unquestionably, the best coffee shop in the area! I’m so thankful that finally, I was able to find this spot for some good beverages just in time. I will definitely rate them a five-star for everything that they provided. They substituted for something they ran out of and was just as delicious. Truly amazing! Thank you so much, guys!

Have recently been using Cafe Nero more and one thing is commonplace in them all, slow service thanks to staff. Cambridge station is horrendous and it seems the staff are in no rush so people see the queue and head for Pret two doors down.
However, the lady serving in here is fantastic and after having a few pistachio iced lattes this year, hers was perfection while many have been rubbish (apart from Nero Melton Mowbray, top drink also).
5 stars purely for her friendly and welcoming attitude and perfect drink 👍
