We got takeaway ramen on the 25/3 and they forgot to include the serve of pork belly in the dish(arguably the best part of the dish) i called up when i got home and they apologised and said the next time I ordered from them they'll include and extra serve to make up for it. Fair enough, mistakes happens. I asked if they need a name or anything for their records. Apparently not, they'll just remember it. Went in today for takeaway, they were hesistant to gice me the extra serve, i said i asked if they needed a record of it, and they said no. Hesitantly agreed to include the extra serve. When i got home, i instead received 1 extra slice. An extra serve comes with 3 slices for $5. My first meal missed the most important ingredient to me and i couldn't even get a full extra serve. Didnt seem like that big of a deal but makes me feel a bit ripped off to pay the advertised price for not whats advertised and not even get a fair compensation. The food is good though But sadly not visiting again because I'd rather pay for a store bought meal where I'd get what i ordered or at least promised the reimbursement when a geniune mistake was made. Sorry guys, you were my first choice for ramen but my Friday/ Saturday night takeaway budget must go somewhere else.

Maybe we were just unfortunate but there were little flies everywhere. They kept flying in our food and I just could not finish my food because I couldn’t see anymore where they were landing and staying. Too small to distinguish between whether I was scraping flies off or seasoning. Staff seemed to know about it as when I mentioned they just suggested swatting them away.

Spicy Ramen and beer. How can you go wrong. Prompt friendly service. Only improvement I could suggest is they steer away from using wooden chopsticks and change to metal ones. Better for the environment

We stumbled upon this place by chance and it was a delight! Great food and the location in the mall is very nice. We had our dinner at $35! Yummy food and great service!

Actual Rating: 2.5<br/><br/>I was craving some Ramen and went due to the good reviews this place has. Ordered Spicy Miso Ramen and Tori Karage Bun. The place has a nice setup and abundant staff to look after the customers, however i was disappointed as the staff kept eating/drinking in plain view of the customers. Having worked in the food industry this presents a very poor level of service on their part. Coming back the food took almost 25 mins to reach my table and once it did the ramen was a massive letdown. Fairly bland with very minimal toppings. It was mostly corn, noodles and broth. Not very appetising imo. The bun on the other hand was really fresh and delicious. I might give them another go but not for their ramen unfortunately.

We enjoyed the Fukutani ramen with Pork belly and Rosukato with deep fried crumbed pork as it was a rainy day and we needed something to warm us up. We also enjoyed the gyoza too. Along with our matcha drinks which was the real flavour was delish.<br/>An ok ramen place in the burbs it did the job and provides a little variety too.

It was my first time trying ramen and the experience was fantastic. I had the grilled beef version while my friend had the crumbed pork. The gyoza and beef entrees were great as well, but I felt the beef slices were smaller than pictured.

I used to come to the restaurant nearly every single day when there’s only one in G’borough plaza, but all the old staffs are here now, and I come here to find the familiar feeling (tasting) and yes it is!!! Everything is exactly the same, friendly nice staffs, delicious yummy food, better drinks, and greater space!!! I love it 😍

Food and venue get a 4/5, but I’ve dropped a star here as you need to self-order and pay before eating - ala McDonalds. With so much staff milling about you would think table service would be possible. Our ramens were good, but not remarkable. The pricing on the food was fair. The pricing on the beer ($9 for a pot) was pretty outrageous.

These guys had the best interior design in a restaurant I’ve ever been to! Their food was quick, very fresh and affordable. I love how awesome their plates were and how artistic and beautiful their cutlery is too. Definitely coming back for ramen!

Hardly any vegan options (nothing labelled vegan only vegetarian so it's a guessing game). Tried the teriyaki tofu/veg and it was really bland and inauthentic, probably the worst teriyaki tofu I've ever had, it was also overpriced. Will not return unless I see a change of menu.

Wait time into the Restaurant was so long! We had to wait in the biggest line. I didn’t like the fact that you have to get up to put your order in, it felt like a fast food vibe but restaurant layout. When we finally did get the order the food did start to come out fast which was good. All the food was tasty. I would go back one day.

Walked through shopping mall and had a quick lunch in this Ramen. The texture of the noodles were perfect for myself. The soup based was the soul of this ramen! The environment was amazing as well!

Hands down the best place to eat at the new dining district at Westfield Plenty Valley. Our no brainer choice when we want to eat out. Almost here every week! Everything we’ve tried so far has exceeded our expectations and the staff are very nice and attentive to the customers needs. Highly recommended 👍🏼👍🏼

Having ramen in their restaurant name, I opt to try their ramen on my first visit and I must admit, I was quite disappointed. The aroma of the ramen was really aromatic but when I had the first bite, it was very bland & oily. The Japanese curry had a bit of a kick to it and was quite peppery. There was no peper/spice warning sign on the menu - so my little guy had a tough time finishing it. The ramen also came 25 minutes AFTER the curry which is disappointing.<br/><br/>On the second visit I avoided the ramen and decided to try the don (rice dishes), and it was really good!! Packed filled with flavour and I really enjoyed it. My partner tried the nabe (hot pot) and the broth was spectacular. Definitely recommend it during the winter cold nights. But overall, it’s a good place! But I wouldn’t come for the ramen.

The Swine had a hankering for a good fuk u and boy oh boy did the Swine get it. Fukutontei Ramen is Ramen Central at the new Westfield Plenty Valley food district. The Swine loves how this new establishment rolls - staff are prompt, helpful and very friendly - and food is great!!. Ramen was excellent and the Swine's choice of extra spicy blew his head off!!! Wow but in a good way. The Swine loves how extra Ramen can be added for a measley two bucks and thoroughly loved his lunch experience at Fukutomtei. This place is popular and for good reason. Verrrry nice work. The Swine will be back. Origato piglettes!!

I came here with my partner on a busy night after work and were pleasantly surprised. The food was filling and delicious. I ordered a strawberry milkshake and katsu curry and my partner ordered a banana milkshake and ramen. We ordered gyozas to share. I couldn't finish my curry as it did live up to the name and was quite spicy. Nonetheless I enjoyed it and will be back soon.<br/><br/>Update: came back on the 05.12.18 and I didn't like the beef don.. tasted bland.

Nice Japanese style decoration and good service. I love the atmosphere there.I ordered Gyutan don and curry crispy pork don. The Gyutan don is excellent!! Great value of spicy and juicy beef tough. I finished all the rice lolll. Curry dish here is amazing, with thick pork. Yummy~~~

Hooray to all the new urban dining area here! Granted it took is 20min to drive here from lalor but thankgod it was worth it!<br/><br/>Service was impeccable. We brought along our puppy and was able to sit outside. Wasnt too sure whether we were allowed to but they didnt kick us out so not gunna complain. Huge space with about 10 seats outside and alot more inside.<br/><br/>We both ordered ramen. Hubby got the volcano one and i got the special slow cooked pork ramen. Delicious! Hubby enjoyed his. Toooo spicy for me. Mine was full of flavour. As halfway through it got really really salty. But that meat definately melted in my mouth. Plenty of it too!<br/><br/>Ocotpus balls was a must. Ive had better but it was still soft and curbed our cravings.<br/><br/>Tried the honey yuzu soda also but could have done without it. Needed a bit more sourness or tanginess.<br/><br/>Overall very satisfied with the ramen and venue itself. Will have to return soon!

Staff were friendly and service was quick. Food came out straight away. The salmon calpaccio was amazingly fresh and the tobiko salad a delight. The tempura batter was light and crunchy not oily. Very satisfied, definitely a “must visit again” place. Order the house sake HOT...you won’t be disappointed

Pros: kaarage chicken was delectable. Ramen noodles were nice and the salad dressing was seasoning. Interior is very cozy and welcoming also.<br/><br/>Cons: Ordered extra chashu and it was brought out before the ramen. This in my opinion is not great as the chashu got cold by the time the ramen came out (took a while to come also). Ramen was average and lacked flavour.

The restaurant is lovely and clean which is a real plus. The waitress was very friendly and the service throughout the evening really good. We went with friends who ordered a few of the starters. They loved their dumplings and deep fried oysters (the presentation is Instagram worthy). If you like Japanese food then this restaurant is worth the visit.
