Our Best

Tried Our Best for the first time today. Delicious food! Hearty portions make the it a great value. 3 adults, each with an entree, drink, dessert (to go), and split an appetizer totaled $60. We all have another meal in the fridge from our leftovers. Good home cooking/southern country fare. If you like Cracker Barrel, you'll hate it after you eat here because Our Best blows them out of the water. Easy to get to from Lagrange/ I-71.

Our Best is a wonderful quaint little resturant with home style meals. This country resturant is off the beaten path but easy to get to in Smithfield, KY in Henry County. It is an old barn converted into a resturant full of charm and history. If you are anywhere nearby it is worth stopping in for a great home cooked meal. The meatloaf was perfect great flavor and juicy, the pickled beats were awesome they had just the right amount of pickling and the green beans were seasond with love and served with a slice of onion on them which was a great touch. They served cornbread with the meals. It was cooked flat like pancakes. I highly recomend the fried green tomatoes. The staff was friendly and we were served quickly. If you're not from Kentucky make sure to get a Ale 8 to drink with your meal. Once again even if you're just passing through on I-71 take the time and enjoy the Kentucky countryside, stop in for some good downhome food! Save room for dessert. I didn't and I wish I had.

The had the Mill burger and it was excellent! It is essentially a much larger and much more tasty version of the Big Mac McDonald's has been serving for years. The decor is a rustic and reminiscent representation of the towns history. If you want a small town country cooking experience try this restaurant and you will not be disappointed. Make sure you are hungry because the portions are generous and always served with with a smile.

Our first time here and we loved the food! Got a salad to try their homemade Bleu Cheese dressing and it was delicious! Husband got the fries with his burger and they didn't disappoint! My son said it was the best chicken legs. We ordered the fried pickles and they came out hot & fresh! Wish we lived closer be wise we would definitely go back again!!
