Brunetti

Very disappointed! I had some positive dining in experiences at Brunetti in the past, so I decided to buy a profiterole cake for my dad's birthday. I ordered it a few days in advance, to arrive at approx 3pm today. Received no news about it and it did not arrive. At 3.40pm, I called them asking, only to learn that it was still at the restaurant! The person on the phone was polite but unhelpful. Did not give me an approximate time it would come or a reason it was late. Just told me the delivery guy had not come. Even if it was the delivery guy's fault, why did no one follow up with the delivery service in the 40 mins or let me know it was delayed? At 4.10pm, I then received a message that it was on its way. It ultimately arrived at around 4.30pm. That's more than an hour later than the time it was supposed to arrive! I received a box of 6 small chocolates as compensation, but my dad's birthday plans were ruined, how could we celebrate without the cake? AND DELIVERY WAS $20!!!!!! Was very disappointed with the delivery experience, but otherwise its ok. They accomodated my request to add a short happy birthday message on the cake and the cake arrived in good condition. It looked nice but tasted so-so.

Dropped by on a Saturday evening for dinner; place was pretty sparse and wasn’t noisy at all, nice place/ambience to chill/catch up. Service was alright however staff who took my order wasn’t exactly sure about dishes on the menu when asked. Food was great, not fantastic but definitely worth coming back again with a wide array of desserts to pick from. P.S - spaghetti might look a little awful but only because we requested for it to be cut into shorter strands for easier consumption due to braces (was delish nonetheless!)

Had a late breakfast here on the first day of 2021. Indoor seating was full so we had to settle for an outdoor table. We had the Big Breakfast and Eggs Benedict with brioche; well cooked, delicious and very appetising too. The cafe latte and orange juice were great too. Shall be back to try their other full meals.

Nice setting. Spacious dining. A lot of options on the food menu and at reasonable prices without ++ tax and service charges. The staff do a great job in cleaning up and running around serving people and they also give a friendly goodbye on your way out. Thanks for a nice Saturday morning breakfast!
