We waited for a while before we got served. Host didn't explain how it worked. So we were both looking for the qr code to order from the table as it says on the menu. We called the attention of the host later,who said some would be with us shortly. Service needs to be better if you are charging service charge. Dropping drinks off and having a chef drop off a few plates doesn't warrant a service charge.

We visit here regularly now. It's always fresh and tastes amazing. Would recommend it to anyone even just to try it.

Whilst shopping, I ended up coming here for lunch and then again (unplanned!) for dinner.
The staff were absolutely wonderful; they remained helpful, friendly and polite despite the fact that it was extremely busy. They smiled and were warm throughout both visits.
The food was fresh, tasty and abundant. It was nice to see the conveyer back to how it was before. Both the hot and cold food were delicious!
I wouldn’t normally go twice in one day, but it was the lovely staff, chefs and servers alike that made me want to return! Total credit where it’s due and kudos to such a welcoming team, who made me feel like a valued customer. Thank you all!

Used a voucher for this trip, glad I had it as the price has gone really steep in price. We just had 2 large Pumpkin Katsus in this one and ordered some tap water.
The water never arrived so we had to flag someone down half way through the meal.
You can order on the app but you have to pay in person now.
The food was hot and extremely filling, everytime I visit the portion sizes are different.
Table was clean and there is a lot of choice on the menu. We also wanted to order the Yo!, Fries which weren't on the app menu but they were on the physical one? So we just had to assume they were out of stock as there was no one to ask.

here's the lowdown. Overall, it's a decent place with a lively atmosphere and a cool conveyor belt system. The sushi options are varied and tasty. But here's the deal-breaker - the service is painfully slow for anything other than drinks. It seriously affected the dining experience. Staff were friendly though, and the sushi quality was good. If you can handle the slow service, give it a shot, otherwise, consider avoiding it.

As a lover of Asian foods - our search for food in the Oasis at Meadowhall, usually consists of a 15 minutes wander up, down and around, looking at menu boards, before ultimately ending up in Wagamama or Yo! Sushi.. Never been disappointed in a meal here.
Food:
Always tastes fresh and high quality (honestly never seem to get Sashimi so fresh and well portioned as here). You can see the food being prepared in the centre - if that tickles your fancy or soothes your curiousity.
It is at the average to higher end of pricing for Sushi, but I'd say worth every penny either way.
Plus the Miso is unlimited - always a winner.
Service:
The staff and team here have always been friendly, outgoing and helpful - unlike most places, I've never seen any staff at Yo! wandering around like they're either lost or watching the clock - so makes for a pleasurable experience.
Atmosphere:
Now, I'm a people watcher, so it's ideal for me - situated in the centre of the walkways - you can watch the world go by. However, it's never too loud or busy to enjoy your meal. Only reason for a 4 star atmosphere is that a standalone restaurant would offer a better feeling of privacy and a step away from the hustle and bustle (I'm sure Yo! would do very well in its own store in the Oasis).
Would recommend and will definitely return.

It's sushi so the portions are small. All freshly prepared and with good flavours. It is however expensive for what you get, more of a snacky or quick lunch place rather than somewhere for a full meal - unless you don't mind paying a large amount. It's in the middle of a shopping centre so the atmosphere is a bit meh. Paying is a pain, you order from an app and have to pay immediately, if you want more drinks or dishes or dessert you have to order and pay again - can lead to your card getting upset at the repeat transactions at the same place in a short space of time.

Went to Sushi school with James and Jen. Had such an amazing time. Found out lots of information and made enough sushi to last two days. Highly recommended and would do it again. Thank you so much for organising this.

Service was great and food was just as food. We didn't book at went there more or less as soon as it opened. We were seated, fast. Ordering process was a breeze (a bit too easier, my diaghters love spending my money :) ). All the dished arrived fast, well presented and went down a treat. We'll worth the visit (infact it wad the reason we went to meadowhall) and will deffo be visiting again.

The staff get a 5/5. Only reason why I have given it a 4 is ordering on the mobile app lacks the previous experience in dining in. The special deal menu changed mid way ordering so it made me place the incorrect order! The staff refunded me back but I felt slight handed cause I lost out and paid more than I had too in comparison to before so hope this FYI helps others avoid the same issue. Overall it's still one of the best Sushi you can ask for and hoping once these restrictions finally end Yo Sushi can revive pre- restrictions period :)
