Rendezvous

Great venue. I had no idea this place hosted such great artists. My s.o. and I had a wonderful time listening to up and coming, super talented singers. The venue is very private, the ambiance feels cozy and romantic. The bartender was great, I got a paloma with mezcal and I really enjoyed it. Very nice.

I was feeling very sad and down. Going on my way to be an even sadder sadboy but then I discovered a duck sadder than me. I gave the duck my jacket in this cold, rainy weather. I'm still sad but at least the duck is less sad & less cold. I then made a rendezvous with my younger teenage self at Rendezvous Turns out the duck works at Rendezvous. It introduced me to John the Bartender. He provided nice service and conversation. I became less sad. The duck is also related to Donald Duck and his other dad Donald Trump. I hope you reflect on this story and give this bar a try especially when John is working but also to never give up on your dreams. As dark & somber things can be, it will get better. Also they have movie nights Wednesday

Last week I attended a concert at the Rendezvous, and felt privileged to attend. In the most intimate setting, I listened to three amazing singers and felt I was sitting in their living room. It was a throwback to the best of times, and at a nominal cost. John bartended, and was helpful and empathetic, as most barkeeps should be, but often aren’t. As an older dude I’m not always welcomed at clubs in Seattle. John and Madeleine were gracious and respectful. I will return this Friday for another concert. The Rendezvous is fantastic.

Goth night "Jaded" was confusing, fliers said Industrial and dark techno genres of music, but the DJs played darkwave and pop covers... Seemed confused about what they were trying to do, and the drinks were over priced and re-creations of already established and existing known cocktails with new names thrown on them Venue is nice but the dance areas are super small and awkward seating arrangements and sound issues with the setup downstairs causing the music to cut in and out, I suppose a sound check before the event was skipped
