Gameworks

This was a reunion trip for my son who was meeting up with a friend who came down from Texas. Some games & food. The atmosphere was nice, families all getting together having fun, there are sighs about sanitation but I personally didn’t see anyone cleaning in the 4-5hrs we were there. I had a few drinks from the bar they were spot on, there are cup holders on the side of some machines, I was stuck on Pac-Man for most of my trip and it needs to be replaced the joystick 🕹️ is off 😩. Bathrooms were clean but very small lol I was struggling a bit You can’t make a full turn ez. We had dinner at the restaurant, it’s not like a typical restaurant we can sit wherever we like, take menus off the counter where we see a staff member then when you are ready go up to that same counter and order & pay. The kids ordered wings they do not come with fries, they all complained they were too salty, when my son didn’t finish his I KNEW this was accurate. He can finish wingstop 20piece ez. Our food was good we had chicken sandwiches shared fries with the kids. 5 people about $88. Overall it was an enjoyable experience. Oh and we dipped out for a walk and left them there but we searched top @ bottom and couldn’t find them an no one was answering there phones so we asked if they could make an announcement 📣 Come to find out there were in the online gaming section where they use headphones!! Sooooo good to know and we didn’t check bc they don’t play any so we thought 💭!! Hope this was helpful & your family has a great time!!

Awesome party venue! We hosted our child’s birthday at GameWorks and everything was easy and low stress. We showed up and the staff at GameWorks took care of everything else. The food was excellent and the service exemplary. My son said it was the best party EVER, and all of the guests loved the experience.

This is my favorite arcade in the city, I was so sad when it closed but now with the new ownership it’s better than ever!!!! The history behind this establishment is what’s making me come back! It makes me nostalgic for the 90s even though I’ve never experienced them! I love the aesthetic like the Sega Games Mural when you walk in and the Sega race car. My only thing criticism is that some of the older games are throwing their age (which isn’t the arcades fault) and I’d love to see some Japanese games like the ones at round one, especially Super Dragonball heroes. I hope this place stays here for a long, long time!

It has a wonderful selection of games available, including a few PC games in the esports area, and even a few vr games. Each game feels like it has enough space for the player to comfortably stand while playing. However I'm not fond of the credits system they have in place. The complete disconnect between real money and their credits feels like it's intentionally confusing, to avoid letting people know how much they're spending. Would prefer if the credits were equal to like 10x the money spent on them. Like 20=200, or something.

We took our 3 year old son here today. He loves arcades and his excitement radiated throughout the arcade. He is obsessed with Mario and enthusiastically ran through the arcade from game to game when a gentleman came up (who I can only assume to be an owner or manager) saying he wanted to be sure our son had enough tickets to get the toy he wanted. (Which of course was Mario). We anticipated getting a small stuffed toy, but the gentleman ensured we had Mario before leaving! Our son has been gushing ever since! Cannot speak for the food or drinks, but super sweet staff who absolutely made my sons day! Will definitely be back!

Same as it ever was! Good way to kill some time. Modest selection of arcade games, lots of interactive and ticket games. Very good variety. Restaurant and billiards upstairs, bar. I had a smash burger, fries and a beer. The burger was delicious. The fries were decent. The beer was cold. Accommodating and not terribly expensive for Seattle. I like this place. 5 (five) starts I mean stars.
