We've been going to the Latona Pub regularly for at least 15+ years. And I always ordered their mac & cheese because it was hsnds-down the best in Seattle. (and I've tried countless versions at restaurants across the city) Penne noodles, super rich sauce and broiled for a crispy top. We hadnt been there in a year or two for various reasons and just went back this past week. Unfortunately, they changed the mac & cheese recipe completely. It's a pale shadow of the previous version. Shell noodles, lacks flavor and now tastes like any other side of mac you get at a BBQ joint or anywhere else. PLEASE bring back the previous Mac using the penne noodles! I still love Latona and recommend that you go! But maybe skip the mac & cheese.

Although I no longer live close by, I make the trip as often as possible to enjoy the best burger in Seattle, exquisitely diverse tap list and flavorful overall vibe. Things have changed over the years, but the food, beer, local music and friendly environment is always exceptional. Everything on the menu is succulent, but the burger is my go-to. Love that it comes with a salad (amazing vinaigrette dressing) rather than fries. Duck confit salad was also something so special. Cocktails are also notable as is sitting at the bar and chatting with the other friendly folks that patronize this long-running gem. I miss the previous cooks that seemed to be family and the riffraff that was always going on in the cozy little cooking quarters. Super secret upstairs seating and newer outdoor limited seating is also a fave! Yum!

Met up with an old friend for drinks and a bite.
Food was amazing
Staff was kind and accommodating
My only regret was not staying for trivia.
Worth stopping and enjoying some time here

Serious, serious, serious pub food! 'Chef Brian' must have some pro training, and it comes through in his food. The menu is both rustic and, somehow (because it's pub food), elegant. I ordered a peach and tomato salad, meatloaf burger, and fish and chips (a special), and it was all nearly 10/10. Maybe the salad was a 10?!
I have spent a lot of money on food while traveling, eaten at some 'starred' restaurants, and this pub unexpectedly held the line. I was just trying to grab a bite to eat with a family friend visiting from Finland, but this 'experience' made me question why I spend my money at other places...
Did I mention the beer selection is great too? Be sure to check out the tables upstairs (one 3-4 top, another 12ish top) table if you're looking for more privacy.

Wow! Great food and fun jazz!

Add blue cheese and caramelized onions, you won’t regret.

A nice neighborhood pub with great selection of beer and very good, somewhat eclectic, reasonably priced food.
The beer options are varied, but not overwhelming. Some places have a massive number of options, with some redundancy. Here they typically have about 10 selections that seem well considered. There should be something for almost everyone.

Has to be on the Secret of Seattle, this little neighbourhood pub in the community of Greenlake. I hear they have two more in Seattle as well. Being completely honest I’ve never eaten a juicer burger. It was superb in every way. The freshest ingredients including the bun I’ve ever eaten. The Caesar salad was equally as fresh and delicious all on its own as well as the margarita. All freshly crafted with out of this world flavour. The pub needs to be on the best places lists of what not to miss here.

I like their mulled wine and burgers.
I wish there are more tables. It's tough to get a table for a big group and busy hours.
We went to back after they opened up for dine in since Covid.
You do need a proof of vaccinations for indoor seating.
They are getting back to regular menu. We had "Banh Mi Burger" and "Jarapinapple Margalita". Both were great, the cocktail might spicy depends on jalapeños but gooood.

Great place to have good beer. The food is way better than expected. I would recommend the grilled cheese and tomato bisque. There was a jazz band there the last time I went which was a cool experience in such a small spot.
