West Five

Ordered food from here for the first time today based on the positive Google reviews. Thank you all who recommended this place - you were right. BLT, Mac and cheese, chicken satay with rice were all perfectly cooked and prepared and all tasted delicious. Ordered the coconut cake too which I’m sure will be just as tasty. First time ordering and will definitely be a repeat customer. To the owner and staff at West5 - thank you for the care that you took in making my order, everything was yummy. Can’t wait to try some of the other food on your menu.

THE BEST!!!! My mother and I walked in at 5 till 11, (11 being closing time.) I asked if we could still get food. Having worked in the service industry I knew that the kitchen was already getting shut down, but I thought I would ask anyways. The owner I guess was working that night as bartender and politely went over to ask the kitchen if it was ok for one more twosome, and they said sure. I have very few teeth and explained this so he recommended a few things off the menu that I could eat. They sounded good so we ordered. We were served promptly and the food was amazing!!. I went back and thanked the kitchen and they were very greatfull as well as the owner. We ate and chatted with him then left. Now we had gone by 2 different places before West 5 and they would not serve even being up to 15 minutes to close. I must say that the vibe I felt from 5 was great and very positive. They are now on my list of places to go once a month or even more. Huge thank you!! Was a memorable experience to say the least.....;).

Wow this was fun! On 4/3 in the evening we had a great experience with the bartender/server--who also had a great playlist. We couldn't hear it very well from the back of the restaurant but I've been looking for hip hop all over Seattle but it's been a pretty lackluster scene. I should have gotten his schedule so I could come back when he brings the jams and the helpful drink picking. Ha. We hadn't been here before so we decided to try a whole bunch of different items. I'm usually a straight up booze drinker but would highly recommend their mai tai. It's very strong and nothing is strong to me. We tried their tomato soup, the Ruben, the macaroni and cheese, and a few different drinks and it was all good. Would return to support local business. Looking forward to their menu expanding or happy hour returning as well.

Got brunch here recently, ordered the Corn Beef Hash n’ Bash and the egg BLT. The corn beef was some of the best I’ve ever had and the BLT was absolutely delicious. I was super hungry and easily ate both of the meals and the server told me she couldn’t believe I ate all of it and seemed really impressed which was the best part of the entire dining experience.

Another good, friendly watering hole. Staff remembers your name, you get flavorful food. Bartenders make hearty drinks as well as suggest concoctions. The macncheese is still in play since the opening of this establishment. And I've been here since that dish has kept me here. The staff knows exactly what we're ordering when we walk in. It's located in the heart of the junction. Big plus is the free parking lot in back, you can saunter in through the back door.
