Best beer in Seattle! Service needs some work. Bartender was on his phone with his back to us most of the time. But it's great beer so I'll be back.

Your pilgrimage to Seattle wouldn’t be complete without paying homage to Holy Mountain Brewing Company. Can you guess who picked “Fresh HOP Strata” as their favorite?” Fresh HOP Strata is brewed with two row and pilsner malts, malted oats, and malted spelt with a hearty hopping of bine fresh, well, you guess it – Strata hops. My (Melissa) favorite was the “Eternal Recurrence” blonde Bier de Garde. The Bier is brewed with pilsner malt and hopped with French Strisselpalt and then refermented with Brettanomyces. Both beers have a robust flavor profile that showcase the brewer’s talent in two extremely different styles.

Holy Mountain *is* the holy mountain of beer in the PNW. It is pretty simple, just try a few beers and see what you think. Read on for some nerdy input, haha. But please visit and give your taste a good chance to expand (。•̀ᴗ-)و ̑̑✧ Stretch your mind, and take in Belgian/French inspired ales. Relax, and rely without care on true quality with a barrel aged dark ale, or a crafted IPA to tease out an amazing and inviting aroma or a flourishing finish across your palate. Genuine craft and skill--HM is stellar in the world no doubt. Look for their collabs as well and follow their "disciples"/companions too as it does rub off, and we are all rewarded for it (e.g. FG, E9, et al.). But cannot recommend more to stop in once in awhile at Interbay and just slow down and enjoy the visit. There is Dantini pizzeria now next door which is really welcome too and pretty tasty. Visit 9-Sep-22 was fab, see photos attached (。•̀ᴗ-)و ̑̑✧

The brewery I was told to check out when I came to Seattle. Great, balanced beers, awesome atmosphere, and probably the best selection of merchandise I've seen at a brewery. Will definitely be back next time I'm in Seattle.

You get to chill out and watch the trains go by and drink what is quite possibly the best locally brewed beer that Seattle has to offer - how great is that? Pretty great.

Their style varies which is nice, and while they always have some solid tips you will find something for almost any beer person. Plus they have crazy barley wines and barrel-aged stouts every once in a while as well. The parking is a little weird and unregulated so that part always feels a little awkward. The train noise will ruin a nice reading day as well, but other than that it's tough to beat what they offer in beer.

I love stopping by here. My second time visiting the Holy Mountain. It’s a great place to come and have an awesome beer. The servers are very nice. I like sitting at the counter and listening to the music. They have outdoor seating and the parking is out back. They had IPA’s & Pale Ale’s on tap this time which I very much enjoyed tasting. I was even able to leave with some to go beers. If you haven’t heard about them already, what’s taking you so long to go check them out? This should be your first stop when visiting Seattle.

Dark horse group favorite. Moderate variety of hoppy beers, crisp lagers, and aged options. IPAs seem to lean toward West Coast. Plenty of parking in back along the train tracks. Metal.

Always a go-to when visiting from Portland. Lots of stellar, interesting beers. We love to get 6 oz pours and try a few! You certainly don't need flights to try different things, and this way the beer you have stays fresh while you enjoy it. Dogs clearly allowed. Good vibes, don't miss out :)

Stopped in while visiting from out of town. Holy Mountain had been recommended by a few people. We found it to be good with a couple of very good beers but not great. The service was decent. The place is rather spartan, but well see maintained and pleasant enough. We just didn't think the beer quite lived up to expectations. That is our experience only, so go, and try it for yourself.
