This is one great pub and I just can't fault anything.
I have just left the seven sisters after have a meal there and I just don't get it. The reviews don't match the pub.
This is an old pub full of history its not your bar with loud music or your sport bar with the 60" TV on the wall.
It is a nice pub where you can just sit and talk. Pick a corner for a quiet time to be with your partner or friends.
FOOD. I just can't fault anything and I love good food.
Did notice on there revues that some of them were meant for the cuckmere inn and not the seven sisters.
Drop in for a quiet and slow time with a Friend.

One of the most photographed views in the country and so well known from many period dramas, feature films, TV adverts and annual calendars. Managed by the National Trust, it is totally unspoilt. However, the cliffs are chalk and visitors are highly advised to keep away from the edge as cliff falls can occur without warning. Top tip make sure kids (and adults) heed the warnings and keep dogs on a lead, don't forget to take your camera. Rain or shine, the views are spectacular.

Went here with my boyfriend and mum around 1 on a weekday so it was quiet as expected. They had a lovely open fire place and the food was amazing! The only reason I didn’t give it 5 stars is because the tables were sticky and there was some food on the floors, not drastically dirty but still. I’d assume they’d be able to keep it clean as there was only 3 other people in there besides us.

big pub, huge car park and right next to Cuckmere Haven country park, near to Alfriston so right in the middle of the sightseeing areas. Car park can easily take several coaches with wide turning area - probably an undersold asset especially for large groups in a coach sightseeing in the area. Open fires, good selection of ales, friendly staff and superb Sunday Lunches. Good reputation for food in general. Large garden area and kiddies playroom, function room too. Friendly staff, Open Mic and live music on occasion. Pool table too. All good. Oh, and Ron Herriotts review saying I'm reviewing the wrong pub ? Do you think I dont know the difference between this pub and the one you mention? Trust me, I got an "O" level in woodwork at school. Plus I can read.

Visited on Saturday with My family. The Back Garden and children’s room was great for my niece lots of space and toys. We all ordered food some from the Speciels board and the menu, Great Choices for me being a Vegetarian. Staff are really friendly and nothing was to much trouble even though there was a lot of us. Will definitely be back to enjoy the Garden again!

Good roast - beef, small Yorkshire, 3 vegetables cooked perfectly, nice roasts and gravy, particularly good stuffing. We will return.

It's great for the kids on one side of the main road u have the forest on the other u have the walk down to the sea following the river with grazing cows and sheep. The down point on the walk on either side is some irresponsible owners do let there dogs off the leads even though they shouldn't but there are only a few that spoil it most are very responsible. It is a lovely walk though the forest but definitely not for the disabled that can't walk well as is very hilly. The walk down to the sea is quite long but if u are able to walk OK there is a little picnic area if u turn left about half way down. Up the top of the hills on your way down to this are there is a badgers sect. Is definitely worth a trip is a lovely walk but a long walk and don't get lost in the forest

Nice quiet pub outside of the bustle and hustle of the town-centre. Helpful staff, with food and television offerings. In winter, the fireplace keeps the place homely.
