I never write reviews however when I do it is because a restaurant is EXTRAORDINARY. This place was fantastic from service to the quality of food. I probably stated about 3x to my partner about how tender the chicken parm was. I have never had a more tender piece of chicken in my life. I am beyond happy with my meal. ALSO, Ashley V was an amazing server. She was sooooo personable and efficient. I can NOT recommend this place more!!!!!

Do You like Chicken Marsala!? I like it too! How do you like your Chicken Marsala regular, creamy or aldente. Just regular I guess. Regular! Cara Mia in Seaford makes a delicious Chicken Marsala. Perfectly seasoned chicken in very tasty marsala sauce with suculant mushrooms! The stuffed Rigatoni was also a flavorful dish! Its no surprise its considered one of the best Italian restaurants in Seatown baby!

Omg, what a great little Italian restaurant tucked in a row of stores. Their "al fresco" tables are delightful. Caesar salad was delicious, dressing tasted homemade, my flounder was perfect, husband's choice of Zuppa di pesce over linguine was MASSIVE, could have fed the 4 of us, my friend had the grilled salmon over sautéed spinachand her husband had shrimp monachino with linguine. My only issue was the bread. It was dry. Thank you to the chef

My mom threw my baby shower here yesterday and I’m so happy with how everything went! She couldn’t have chosen a better place. The restaurant is beautiful! It’s on the smaller side and has an intimate ambience to it. The food is delicious and the portion size is very generous. The staff were also so kind! Sergio and the rest of the staff were so accommodating and helpful with the set up of the event as well as throughout the entirety of the party. Would highly recommend this place for hosting a party or even just for a meal out!

I took the family to dinner on a Sunday night to celebrate my daughter's birthday. The restaurant is a little hidden off of Merrick Road but was very nice. Not a big place but comfortable. I had the veal saltimbocca it was tasty. My son-in-law had veal sorrento he gave it a 8.9 lol. My daughter's had pesto rigatoni which they really liked. The service was terrific as we had a party of 8 and 4 kids it could be demanding but the waitress was top notch.The birthday girl had a dessert of creme Brulee cheesecake which I never saw and it was delicious. The portions were big all around we took a lot home. Overall a very nice place will visit again

They have no problem adjusting the menu to your taste. Cara Mia is one of our favorites go-to places, and we have been here many times. You know your is a good place when you walk in are greeted warmly, and all the team members also greet you on the way to your table (With all proper covid precautions observed), and your preferred cocktails arrive tableside as you sit down. The food and wine are outstanding. The wine list is well balanced and refined for a classic Italian family restaurant. If you are looking for a special bottle of wine, ask Sergio it is impressive what he can find in the cellar. The food is outstanding. Our cocktails arrived promptly during our latest visit, a Woodford reserve on the rocks for me and a fine Cosmopolitan for Jo. Along with the cocktails came a warm bread basket with both butter and oil. We opened with a Caesar salad and Italian Egg rolls. The Caesar salad is a generous portion with very crisp fresh romaine lettuce, crisp full-flavored croutons, and a rich tangy Caesar dressing. The Egg roll is a delicious invention of broccoli rabe, crumbled sweet Italian sausage all pack into a traditional egg roll and platted with a rich marinara sauce and dusted with grated parmesan cheese. For the mains, Jo had the Flounder Francese and I the grilled veal chop paired with a glass of Amicone (a baby Amarone). The Flounder Francese arrives at tableside, piping hot, lightly battered, and sitting in a light white wine and lemon sauce. The fish was moist, flaky with a beautiful golden crust. There was more than enough to take home or share. The veal chop was done perfectly with a light golden-brown char while the center remained tender and moist. The chop rested atop a generous portion of broccoli rabe sauteed in oil and garlic. A large side of sauteed spinach accompanied the dish. I could have had one of the side portions of pasta with a wide selection of sauces, but I was attempting to limit my carbs (OK, saving them for the wine). They are quite a few beautiful desserts, but we were both stuffed and had lots of take-homes, so we passed on the desserts this time.
