Persian Bite

Persian Bite is the secret gem of Schenectady. The owner is always there with a genuine smile, fast service and excellent food. I’m normally a standard American fare type of guy, but my wife brought this home one night and ever since I’ve been hooked. We recently had the chance to eat out (without the children) and we didn’t hesitate to pick Persian Bite as our destination. The food and service is first rate and the owners are truly friendly folk. Also, the place has such good food and excellent service that the cost of the meal is less of a factor, but in this case you get the best of both worlds, fair prices and exceptional food. Do yourself a favor and try them out. You will be back.

One of popular musicians told me you should checkout this place 😋 and I did, called a friend and checked out Saturday evening 🤭 Everything was good, Persian Bite is a family restaurant, everything cooked and served fresh. No frozen lambs, chickens, salad and etc. Customer service was pretty good. Interior design could be better 😊 Always room for improvement 😋 Recommend for everyone, small parties and etc. Good luck Reza. 🍀

What a fantastic restaurant! I have been eating here for years. The food is always phenomenal, and the service is wonderful. They truly exemplify the "every customer is a part of our family" values that they espouse as a part of their mission statement. The prices are honestly too low for the quality of ingredients. Definitely check this place out!

I just ate here for the first time and it's incredible. The service was amazing, the friendliest man I've ever had the pleasure of being served by. The food was fantastic, so so good. The atmosphere was also great, a small, homely feel was perfect for the service and type of restaurant this is. If I'm in Schenectady again, this will be my first stop for food, without a doubt.

the restaurant is only open for takeout at the moment however the customer service was excellent. The owner/chef was wonderful. He made us feel very comfortable and welcome. Everything was delicious! I don't eat lamb but ordered a dish for my friends he recommended and it was reported to be the best lamb they'd had. We will be going back. 😊

I absolutely love this place and am excited every time I go. The food is amazing, with everything being seasoned perfectly and generous portion sizes. I always get the lamb and every time it is tender, juicy, and flavorful. My friends love the fact that the rice is seasoned and flavorful. Even the salad tastes unique and delicious. The roasted tomato with the salad is a wonderful touch. Last time I had the rice pudding-like dessert (the only dessert on the menu) and it was delightful with almond slivers enhancing the texture and it not being overly sweet. The atmosphere is also lovely, with each table having a card describing a location related to Persia and a brief history of that location. The restaurant is also family owned and both the owner and his wife are super friendly and warm people. They seem like the genuinely enjoy running the restaurant and meeting new people.
