Denny's

When we showed up (11-19-2019, approx: 5:30pm) there was a nice lady (Ann) who apparently was all by herself, literally. She was the hostess, waiter, and the only cook. The food wasn’t bad considering the one woman band running the show. The steaks were a bit over cooked, but considering the previously mentioned scenario, it was to be expected. Everything else was near perfect. My beautiful wife also made the point that the wait for our food was actually surprisingly fast. At the end of the day Ann was awesome and clearly a team player. She did a bang up job and was very professional front to back. Any employer would be lucky to have her. Thank you Ann for turning your challenge into a fine dining experience for myself and my family.

I waited a hour for my food to get cooked because they forgot to put it in but all the employees were really nice professional it was 12pm sunday so everyone was busy but the manager made everything right for me he took my order and had me out in 5-10 minutes NO CHARGE AND A FREE DRINK thank you very much for the great customer service even for being understaffed i will definitely return just because of the service and experience

I ordered food to go and bring back to my hotel. The staff was prompt and kind. The food was great as if I sat down and ate it fresh. I even had to make a stop before going back to my room and the food kept warm and tasty. My club sandwich did not fall apart or get mushy on the drive. I’m usually a little weary about ordering to go from sit down restaurants because two things usually happen. 1. The food you get there and take home are not always the same portions. 2. The food does not travel well. Both of which were not the case here. I recommend this stop if you are needing a quick bite that’s not fast food but don’t want to sit a while. Not too many options at this exit that fits that description. I used the order online app on my smart phone and paid there. Only took 20 minutes for the food to be ready for pick up.

We were a bit hesitant to go into yet another Denny’s, for breakfast, but we did. The service was great. The coffee was piping hot and freshly brewed. We both ordered the Grand Slam which had 2 eggs, hash browns, 2 sausages, 2 slices of bacon and 2 buttermilk pancakes. All on a special for 5.99. It was delicious. Hot and fresh. The service was great and we would go back again.

The turkey was good, but the dressing and cranberry relish didn't look anything like the picture on the menu. The waitress and server in training were both very nice. Everyone else's meals looked good and they said it tasted good. Food was pretty slow getting out to the table even though the restaurant was pretty empty when we got there. For a table of 4, it took over 40 minutes to get our food.

This weekend my best friends and boyfriend drove me back to Savannah for school, and we’ve been staying at this really... not-so-great motel. Coming to this Denny’s after a late night was such a breath of fresh air. Everyone in the restaurant greeted us with smiles and cheerful attitudes, and we were seated immediately. Our waitress, Aaliyah, was possibly one of the sweetest waitresses I’ve ever had, and she was funny too. She even suggested apartments for me to check out. We loved our experience so much we came back the next morning for breakfast again— and this time we have a different waitress, Ashley, but she is ALSO the sweetest woman. ALL the other waitresses are the friendliest people!!! I love this Denny’s (and the food is delicious)! Definitely worth the visit and I will absolutely be back with more friends later (:

We’re visiting family in Brunswick from NJ and my husband decided to take Amtrak down a week into our two week trip. After a nearly 18 hour train ride (thanks to delays) he was starving. I didn’t NEED to eat, but I did—and I have zero regrets because it was AMAZING!! First of all, Erica greeted us immediately and was also our server. It was 12:30A and she talked to us enough to make us feel important yet not too much where we couldn’t eat. She was so polite and so very sweet. Happened to talk to Crystal on the way out and found out she was the cook of those amazing burgers. A little back story: I hate sharing food with my husband because he likes well-done burgers and they’re usually dry and gross. I don’t know what the heck Crystal did to these burgers, but they were as juicy as what I would expect with a Medium cooked burger. Magic touch is what I told her she had. Good food. Good service. Never ate at Denny’s before—now you have a new customer, especially on our drive home back to NJ!
