Shantell’s

Just ate here for the first time, food, service and atmosphere all amazing! Better than Gladys Knight’s chicken and waffles for sure. My husband had the biscuits and gravy, he said it’s the best he ever had. The coffee was so tasty we had to buy a bag, which happens to be Shantell’s own blend. Honestly, I can’t say enough good things, we will come back soon!!

Found this place on Google while driving through the area. Nice outdoor seating area and pet friendly. The lady that waited on us was really nice. The food was just okay. I got the breaded chicken wings which were flavorless in my opinion. The sauce it came with was really good tho. The sides were super small but decent. The greens weren’t what I’m used to but the green beans were good, a little too salty for me tho. I would return to try something else.

We took a break for lunch and went to Shantell's Just Until. Let me say, that oyster po boy was great. The oysters were fried perfectly. My fellow diners had the shrimp po boy and the other had all veggies and Shantell made her a special dressing for a tossed salad. It was delightful. Chef Shantell is definitely a hands on owner, chef, businesswoman and all around great lady. We will definitely be back!!!

This place was AMAZING, food was so delicious and FRESH, staff was very welcoming especially our server Tia who did an amazing job. Resturant was very clean and beautifully decorated even down to the bathroom. I ordered the 3 piece chicken with collard greens and Mac and cheese and ate every bite. Chicken was cooked to perfection and the greens seasoned just how I like them. My husband got the fried green tomatoes and he loved them. I will take that two hour drive just to bring my kids here to eat, highly recomended.

I frequent Shantell's and the food is always delicious! Today I had the brunch and it was great! Sometimes there are random service inconveniences, like today running out of orange juice. Another time I called for pick up but was told only to order in the restaurant due to an event. These things happen but I will still recommend this place!

First time visit, never heard of this place before. I actually found it on Google Maps. Very cozy and cute place in historic Georgetown. The server was friendly and answered my questions. The whole vibe of the restaurant was really chill. The owners husband was there and he was friendly and engaging. But they have the BEST FRIED CHICKEN outside of Grandmas house….😳😳😳 I will definitely be back…❤️❤️😁😁😁
