Sj Vegetarian House

Was disappointed the fresh pressed juices were no longer offered, but my food was so wonderful it didn't matter. Tangerine kombucha was a great stand-in. Had Majestic Mango and Wonton soup, a vegan first for me. Tried the wild, brown, white combo rice and liked very much. The juice at the end of the mango salad was ambrosia: sweet, tart, bright and just slightly acidic. Todu Wontons go down fast :)

I visited the restaurant with a friend of mine for lunch. I ordered a dish with mushrooms, broccoli and tofu with a side of brown rice. It was delicious, the perfect amount, not too salty. My friend ordered a Thai curry dish that he found not too flavorful (I liked it:)). All the items on the menu are vegan. The lady who worked that day was super nice and kind, she checked with everyone if they were happy with their food.

I have visited this place for years and the food is always amazing! 5 starts for the food and services! This is one of the best if not the best vegan places in Bay Area. They have a wide variety of foods and all is well balanced with species (not too hot). The service is always prompt and pleasant! They still don't have inside seating and have only outside covered patio. It can be hot outside in the summer and cold in the winter. They have been remodeling since the pandemic, but that's some time ago already. I would still come here as the food is just so good! ;)

Non vegan here. Their food is still very enjoyable. My vegan partner really likes their BBQ "chicken" sandwich. The flavor is great to me, bit the bread can be bit too tough. I've been getting their gyro. It has really good flavor. We both love their avocado tartar. Their kale is perfectly tenderized. They have a great outdoor sitting space in their garden in the parking lot. It doesn't sound amazing, but it is very cute and removed from the parking lot and street.

They have only outside seating in patio. You place order over phone using an app. When your food is ready, you get a text. You go to the window to pick up food. Water and cups are available on patio. After eating, you throw the trash in a can. Now, the food was good. For the amount they are charging, they could have better service unlike what I described above.

I came to the restaurant when it is not full service yet. We got the seat outside. The food arrived in paper bowls and plates. The dishes we ordered are crispy rice and hotpot. So the presentation are missing. As I tasted the food, I thought the food is too bland. However, as I ate more and more, it becomes more flavorful. I feel satisfied and clean by the end of the meal. So please take your time to enjoy healthy food lol. A good place for vegetarian/vegan or someone who wants to cleanse their body with clean food.

This is the place we always come to celebrate special occasions since a lot of our family members are vegetarians. They have semi-private room for events. It is a good treat because they are a well craft vegan food that incorporates a variety of different cuisines. The food is always fresh, tasty and the staff are super welcoming. It is a high end vegan food that is worth every single bite!
