This place has been my new local for the past 5 months now. Clean, welcoming and cheap compared to most places given its city centre location.
Cannot recommend highly enough! Only thing I would change is the pool table being 50p per game rather than £1 per game, like most competitors in the area.

This is my local, so yes, I'm biased but they've just restarted serving food. Proper pub grub. I had scampi and chips, whilst the Mrs had a steak. Now she's not easy to please when it comes to steak. She described it so, "It cut like butter". My scampi was served in beer batter with thick cut chips. Mint.
And also on the menu are exotic burgers. I shall be sampling these on a weekly basis.
Never had a bad pint. Staff are proper top. Can't do enough fo....

Only just started going back in here after 20 years. No great changes but pub is bright and comfy, good service and a cracking pint of Carling. Will visit again and recommend it to others.

Fantastic meal at the The Rovers Return. Fresh hot food and huge portions and reasonable prices. Has been refurbed. Under new management. Three of us had a great meal and evening at this place. For the whole of August there are also great discounts on drinks and food on certain days. Don't miss out! We happily ate here paying full price for food and it's worth it.

Within a few minutes walk from Deansgate this traditional pub offers a warm welcome with a good range of beers and ales. Very reasonable prices definitely worth a visit.

I really like this place. It is a classic English pub. Nice quiet atmosphere with good music. Pool table and a nice range of beer on tap. The local crowd is always very friendly and the staff are great. I must recommend.
