Selvi Mess

I have tasted the food during the year 2008.After these years I got an opportunity to visit this mess to taste the food. Wow... Yummy food they are keeping the authentic taste forever. The difference is earlier they were in small shop, now without any change in the taste the newly built mess, ambience and the way the staff helping customer to get seated in the crowd time is much appreciated. Earlier after washing hands we use newspaper, now it's replaced with tissue papers. Again the food taste is outstanding, the cost as proportionate to these years. The street is unchanged with traffic issues. Even for small rain this gets flooded. People who travels through Salem, I recommend you to visit this mess once which is closer to the new bus stand.

I loved the mutton briyani and mutton chukka combo at this place! The flavors were great and made me want more. The mutton briyani was the best, with tender meat and tasty spices. The gravy added depth to the dish. The white rice with chicken, mutton, and gravy was a fantastic non-veg meal along with prawn fry. The place had a nice atmosphere and good service for an enjoyable meal.

On the flip side, the boneless chicken was a bit underwhelming compared to the outstanding mutton briyani. While it wasn't bad, it didn't quite match up to the high standards set by the mutton dish. However, this minor setback won't deter me from revisiting solely for the incredible mutton briyani. The ambience and service were commendable, creating a comfortable and welcoming environment to enjoy the meal, except that supervisor guy. Despite the slight disappointment with the chicken, the mutton briyani has left a lasting impression, and I'm eagerly anticipating my next visit to relish that outstanding flavor once again.
