Beautiful restaurant with very kind staff. The menu has got to be my favorite, though. It's enormous- several pages long with many different options. I can't wait to return!

This place is honestly the BEST Mexican restaurant in all of Salem. The staff is so friendly and attentive to there customers. You are treated like family here and the interior of the restaurant is very nicely kept clean and is beautiful. The food costs are very reasonable considering the amount of food you get. The in house made tortillas are the greatest and the drinks are absolutely satisfying. This is 100% Authentic Mexican Cuisine. I would recommend this place to any and everyone looking for Outstanding Mexican food and customer service!!! If I could rate this place 10 stars I would without hesitation. Great job La Hacienda Real.

Margarita is the best in town for flavor. Food was hot and fresh however a bit lacking in seasoning. Would like to return to try other dishes. They have so many choices and there are excellent explanations in for each dish in their extensive menu. Update over a year later: I returned to try the Sizzling Steak Fajitas. The flavor of the steak was lacking in authentic Mexican spices. Tortillas were very fresh. Daughter had the chicken quesadilla and liked it alot. The complimentary chips, salsa and beans with cabbage is a great appetizer. I will return again to try something else from their huge menu.

First, if you have to wait enjoy seeing the tortillas being made. Once your seated enjoy a well made drink! The smell of fajitas from the next table will intoxicate you! Order anything and enjoy! I had simple shredded beef enchilada and it was great.

The food was great and the people here were warm and inviting. Even though it was very busy they checked in often enough to refill drinks and see if everything was okay.
I gave them 5 stars but overall it's more like 4.5. I understand that they were busy, but my order was incorrect.

Best Mexican in Salem by far. And amazingly the prices are reasonable for the quality of the food your get.
I have to say for sure though you have to try the large drink in a bowl. It tastes so fresh and amazing
Also want to mention I order carry out from here a lot and the food is still all amazing. They also have smaller portions sized dishes if your are watching your calories

This place used to be our favorite. We supported them 3x a week during the entire pandemic, and have been happy until Thursday night when we ordered delivery for their 2 most expensive dishes on the menu.
We were never told about the delivery charge which they double charged AND they double charged my tip so they overcharged me by $16. It was $54 for 2 burritos with hardly any steak and all beans, came cold, and I was severely overcharged. 🤷🏼♀️
Unfortunately our once favorite restaurant offered to refund $5 only (and never did plus added another $3), and gave NO APOLOGY. We will NEVER eat there again.

My first time trying this restaurant and I was impressed!! The tortillas are fresh and made by hand. Absolutely delicious! I had the combo fajitas with chicken and steak. Everything was fresh and delicious. I loved it! Well done!
