The location was easy to find. 2 car parks within easy reach. The serving staff were very attentive and showed equal measures of interest to every customer.
The food was sooo delicious, we had a starter of garlic king prawns which was a fantastic choice (we had 6 prawns) though this was not a sharing dish, we did share. Then we went on the order the crab linguine and the catch of the day. The catch of the day was in a chowder and the taste of the fish impeccable.
As stated, the service was very good, we did not have to ask about where our food was... All in all, I would completely recommend this place for a special occasion or a nice lunch or dinner out. I'll definitely be back.

A lovely spot for lunch and we shared the crab sandwich, which was brimming over with delicious crab meat and justified its hefty price tag! The picture sets the scene better than we could explain! Well worth a visit.

Amazing fresh fish, beautifully presented and full of flavour without being too rich so as to actually taste the fish. Quick delivery of food to the table. Service was brilliant. The two ladies who served us were welcoming and helpful. Lovely relaxed atmosphere. Definitely not pretentious. Highly recommend. We had the fruits de mer and the whisky and chocolate tart. The mussels were the stand out shellfish of the dish. Thank you

Food and ambiance fantastic, we got a selection of mains to share and they were really accommodating (we were a party of 6). The potted crab had excellent depth of flavour and was a surprise hit. Crabs were local and delicious and the mussels were plump and juicy. A must try if in the area, but make sure to snag a reservation!

Friendly reception. Although the restaurant was fully seated they offered me barlike outdoor seating with lovely views.
The whole crab with garlic butter was the most delicious crab ever tasted and served top quality home made fries.

Very popular restaurant and large car park close by. When we arrived for our table there was no recollection of our booking even though we had phoned earlier in the day, however staff were apologetic and we were given a table outside at the breakfast bar. This meant a nice view of the harbour however the weather meant our food got cold quickly. Staff were polite and friendly, great service and the dishes were tasty.

A fabulous hidden gem. Great local seafood, we had mussels and crab soup to start then catch of the day (hake) and crab linguine which was very tasty!! Lovely staff 😊😋😋

It was a lovely experience for us and we did enjoy the local freshly caught Crab, Pan Seared Scallops and Garlic Prawns.
The lady was really good, friendly and happy to help us. We definitely recommend this place to eat if you are in the area; the others don’t come close to the quality of this one.

We had a fabulous lunchtime meal. The food was local and delicious and served really well. The service was really help, friendly and efficient. We will definitely return when we are next in Devon.

My beautiful lady took me here for a birthday treat. Taken to our table by Molly,she's great. The lovely Emma came to us and explained the menu. We both had the whole crab to crack and pick ourselves. Swapping chips for salad was no problem. Glad we did because the salad was yum. Crab wonderfully cooked and prepared. Took us over an hour to completely demolish and devour the tasty crustacean. Highly recommend this place. Thank you Crab shed for a most memorable experience xx
