Waffle House

Last time we will go there. In fact after this visit, will stop going to any Waffle House. Place is not dirty, it is filthy . Had gravy and biscuits. Gravy ok but biscuits very hard. Plastic eating utensils almost made it thru the meal. Fork didn't make it. Service less than cordial. Thought about leaving when I first entered Should have.

This place is a well oiled machine. The staff work together well in tandem and the food is fresh, fast, and delicious. We had a great meal (my first time there) and I enjoyed so much, we went back the next day. They only have American cheese, which is their downfall and they use a butter spread, but this is definitely a late night hit the spot hangover meal, or one that just needs to fill you up. I loved it and the staff are very sweet and quick

Ive been to many Waffle Houses but the mechanics here are on point. Not sure how she did it but our server Yusheka damn near did everything and was still attentive and polite to us. She bussed tables, mopped floors, answered the phone, greeted people all while making sure we were serviced properly. Thing is from observation it wasnt easy, her co worker and possible superior wasnt the kindest at giving orders and at times seemed selective. Positive attitude goes a long way and I hope harsh leadership doesnt tarnish the morale of this group. I must say though manager did try by making grand statements of positive reinforcement to the team while we were there.

Very friendly folk here. I usually come really late at night (because that's the only time you go to a Waffle House), and the workers were extremely friendly and kind. The last time I went, there was an older gentleman and a sweet young lady working the kitchen and orders, and they were laughing and chatting and generally put off a really pleasant vibe to the place. I felt welcome and appreciated. We need more restaurants like this! Thank you.
