The bunch was a little disappointing. The French toast wasn’t drenched through, the bacon and sausage was greasy, and the bagels were sub-par. But I have been there many times for dinner and it is fantastic! It used to be a great French style restaurant which was superb. It changed hands about three year and it’s focus is now on being an elegant steak, chop and fish house restaurant. Last time I was there I had a fantastic pork chop which was seasoned and cooked to perfection! It now is probably the best chop house in Monmouth and northern Ocean County for dinner. It elegant, great ambiance, offering great food, very tasty drinks and attentive service. Will continue going there for dinner, but to be honest , not so much for brunch.

Excellent food, at a price. Everyone dining at Fromagerie last evening was celebrating an event. Mostly birthdays and one anniversary. The menu is eclectic, a mix not entirely French. Service was excellent if a bit familiar. Price per person, splitting appetizer and desert, and with a cocktail was about $80. It's one of the more expensive choices in the area, but atmosphere and service reflect the expense. I'll probably wait for a significant event to return.

This French Restaurant is truly the one of the best restaurants I've eaten at in NJ. The atmosphere is elegant and the owners are meticulous about the menu options for their patrons. This is a high end restaurant and your bill will reflect that. Be prepared to spend for this prestigious dining experience. Graciously speaking, I had the pleasure to dine with the owners. They are lovely people who have exquisite taste and want the best for their patrons.

The Rumson House excels in all aspects. Food and service are terrific. Nancy at the front desk made sure table was properly prepared and ready. Richard and Jack worked great as a team on service. Michael prepared the salad perfectly and Chef Michael came by to ensure all was well. A pleasant experience.

Private Thanksgiving table of 10 in the back and pretty much all of us thought that meals were disappointing. The only thing that tasted good in my opinion was the bread. I got French onion soup, a crab cake, and lobster with gonicci. All were below average. The waiter was good but you might want to try investing in a new chef. I have eaten at plenty of good restaurants and this is simply not quality food considering what the restaurant looks like and the service being so good. I find it laughable that there are five star reviews here. I have no choice but to believe they are done by employees.
