Phonatic

The Pho noodles were overcooked and in a lump and the soup was warm. It wasn’t hot enough to slightly cook the bean sprouts and basil leaves. The Grilled pork spring rolls was quite cold. The pork was very dry and the rice noodles were overcooked and hard, possibly because the rolls were pre-made and refrigerated instead of being freshly wrapped and made in room temperature. The overall service and atmosphere of PhoNatic was good.

This is an awesome fast food atmosphere that delivers good size portions of fresh delicious food. All vegetables were fresh, the marinated meats oh so flavorful, and it's very affordable. The order taker was so personable and nice. I'd give it 5 stars except bottles of sauces were not very sanitary looking. They were all grouped together by the soda area and they looked rather sticky with openings gooped up. They were not full so it made me wonder how old bottle contents were?Just could use improvement in that area. I get it though, help is hard to get. Food and service wonderful! Restaurant & tables were tidy.

Just only a few things that would have made the meal perfect! I don’t usually mind the self service restaurant. I tipped 20% and I don’t regret that. The two guys at the cashier were kind of nice. All the food tasted good, that I can tell they have good recipes. The way they prepped could be better. The egg rolls were a little cold (not hot or crispy). The small rice noodle in my hot soup bowl was not fresh steamed like it’d been sitting in the air for a while before pouring the soup over it. Thai iced tea, a little water down, just a little. My fried eggs had some eggshell in it that I had to spit out twice. All these small details that I think the owner would take it in consideration in the prep process. Otherwise, I think it would have been a good place to have an easy meal! I will come back and check them out again. It was not a bad experience overall!

I was really looking forward to a nice better than warm bowl of flavorful pho. Unfortunately, that was not the case today. The broth was watered down, hardly any flavor at all. The pho was served tepid at best. I noticed this issue the last time I was here so was hoping for an improvement. Just not the same when it first opened with the management at that time. Staff was nice. I'm such a soup/pho lover...I was coming 1-2 times a week before...sad that it has become this.
