Applebee's

Had onion rings for an appetizer and they were delicious. Whiskey Bacon Burger was to die for! Had 3 drinks total, the 3rd one, which was the 2nd Bahama Mama, it wasn't that great, it tasted really carbonated and like there was less alcohol in it. Otherwise Had an amazing date night! Rated 4 stars only because the drinks weren't consistent.

Applebee's has some great deals and food specials. Half price appetizers after 10pm has to be the king of them all. In my opinion the best part of Applebee's is the appetizers. It's a great place to go for late night hang outs with friends. They occasionally have super cheap drink specials as well. During my visit it was busier than I would have expected for a Wednesday night but the waitress still did a great job.

This is a decent chain and a solid option for a last minute place to meet up with friends or family. Food and Service were both solid for the most part and I could be wrong but it seems like the menu has shrunk over the last year or two. I was also surprised that a chain of this size did not have any real Vegetarian/Vegan type options? That is not a big deal for me but for the person I was meeting it took a good while to work with the waitress to get something put together that met his dietary needs and I really expected a chain of this size to have at least a small Vegetarian/Vegan section.

Food is good but can't stand the service. The staff isn't very friendly. I've dined in many times and only once had one very pleasant person wait on us. Was a young guy for which I left a really nice tip because he made our whole experience enjoyable. I'll give an example of one trip in. When it came time to order I wanted chicken Alfredo and asked if they had a lighter version. I was told they didn't have a lighter version. So I tried ordering a child size version. Waitress said she had to go speak with cook. When she came back she asked me why I required eating lighter . I did explain I had a health issue for which I uncontrollably gained weight. Wasn't till after having a thyroidectomy that I was able to take my weight off. I did this by eating four to five mini meals. I can't eat heavy because my stomach shrunk and since I would be going to work after eating there I couldn't just order the regular portion and leave uneaten food in my car for hours. They barely allowed that as an excuse to allow me to order lighter.I found it ridiculous that I even had to explain why I needed a lighter dish.
