Wheat & Rye

Was referred to this place by a budtender at Vibe, because I was in from out of state. We looked up the menu on the website before going. When we walked in we weren't sure if we should seat ourselves or what. So we took a seat. Took about 15 minutes to be acknowledged but they were slightly busy. The place is very dim inside, there was a bucket near our table, near the kitchen as the ceiling is leaking. We were looking forward to ordering the Turkey Pesto and we saw on the online menu but it was not available on the in house menu. We ordered the pulled pork and the philly steak and cheese with Cajun fries. The food was absolutely amazing. Huge portions and delicious! The inside of the establishment could use a makeover but you should go for the food!!

Pathetic. Poor service. Not the Wheat & Rye I remember fondly from some years back and beyond. Sat for 15 minutes to watch other's get service and the waitress fill cups of white glob. Maybe I wasn't the right type if you know what I mean being close to certain neighborhoods. I guess things change, but I felt so out of place coming here and I certainly wouldn't bring my family. Food was not like before, bland, uneventful. Waitress took her time with other "local" customers, other male more into smoking on the patio than anything else. Photos do not represent this place, say they are recent, but no way. You used stop when traveling on business, had to check in and so sorry I did.
