Maid-rite

We got there 1 minute before opening. We had to wait 15 minutes after opening time before they were actually open. The morning crew was doing what the closing manager should have ensured was done. They spent this time wiping down tables, stocking items, etc. The floor had not been swept, and if it was than it wasn’t well. There was still the previous days food on the the floor around booths. The restrooms were also neglected from the night shift manager, this picture of the restroom trash was taken 20 minutes after opening. If the night crew can’t clean basic areas than what does the kitchen look like 😬? We still ate here because my wife was praising this place all over the previous day. Well her memories were dashed and I for one will choose another place before this one. Overall, this specific Maid-Rite needs to replace the night manager and give the whole building a deep clean to include the window ledges inside. Recommend? Not until these things happen.

The owner does not know what goes on at night the manager at night there's not doing watch what goes on in front and ( They have little kids jumping on tables and running around with WET WARNING SIGNS). Than got one young workers that works there that yells at other customers but the owner does not do nothing about it . It's just like a big circus. I would consider going somewhere else to get some food. I hate to say this I been going there since I was a little kid and now I hate the place

I grew up in Rolla but moved away about 10 years ago. But still, every time I come back, I need two things: Maid-Rite and A Slice of Pie. A Maid-Rite (or Cheese-Rite, like I prefer) is a very basic concept: a ground meat sandwich, like a sloppy joe without the tomato sauce. It’s so tasty and unique. They also have very good ice cream (concretes, in particular) that I recommend.

A true icon tucked away in Rolla Mo! In 1926 Maid Rite began making these unique sandwiches and the are still just as tasty today. No my fellow Missourians it is not just sloppy joe meat without the sauce, these unique loose meat sandwiches have a little something extra that makes them delicious. Don't be afraid add pickles and your preferred condiment. And if you are looking for classic deep fried perfection: Onion Rings. or Mushrooms or Fries. Really anything here is delicious! Nothing fancy or frilly just a sandwich... (Made) Maid Right! Google of the chains humble beginnings in Iowa and go enjoy a sandwich thats been around waaay before a Whopper or Big Mac!

It's true! You can relive your childhood memories. I had not eaten a Maid-Rite since I was a kid and this place took me back to a time long ago. The staff working were both very friendly and happy to serve us meals I was so happy to find this place and the memories I have of these " burgers" was greater than the reality. Defiantly a must place to eat at to rekindle your childhood,if you're like me.
