Lilly Pad

The food and service are great, but expect a wait without a reservation (which they only do for parties of 6+). We were told 75 minutes, but there are some nice driving roads around there so we just dropped the top, put on a podcast, and did a loop. As far as the restaurant itself, the food and service were stellar. All the staff are kind and there's something for everyone on the menu. My Detroit-style pulled pork pizza and my partner's chicken tenders were both amazing. And of course, the view! Everyone was having a great time and the DJ was mixing anything from Sly and the Family Stone to Luke Bryan and D-Lite. The transitions were a little jarring but somehow it worked out. If you're looking for good food and river views, it's hard to beat.

My family spent a couple days in Richmond and found this place where we could take our dog. There is nothing like it back home but there should be. The food was very good. We had the pork bbq pizza, calamari and ahi tuna salad and Moose got a bully stick to keep him busy. The orange crushes were strong, everyone was very friendly and the spot on the water was beautiful as the sun went down.

The cocktails are strong and quite delicious. The place is very cool right in the river and the food rocks! Get the crab dip and don't be cheap and upgrade to the pita (house made pizza dough). My son got the cheese pizza and was also same delicious scratch dough. The hush puppies are good but the strawberry butter takes them over the good to great. Also great service and do be sure to be kind to all staff, don't be that guy/Karen.

First of all the seats the seat are amazing! The view of the river is incredible! Now the service was on-point today (3/4/2023), very nice staff. Now the food: For appetizers we got hush puppies and fried calamari and it was very good! I can taste the flavors and the calamari was very tender which made it very good. The main course we got a pepperoni pizza and burgers. The burger was very good. Very juicy and tender, the fries were good as well, very crispy. And the fries were so good with the honey mustard and ranch for dipping. Then the pizza, it was good (not as good as Zorch lol) but overall the experience was very good! 5 star restaurant

This is outdoor only dining only under canopies with heaters or under the canopy of stars. Enjoy a delicious choice from the menu and a tasty beverage to accommodate your meal. The restrooms are heated and there are adequate accommodations for handicap people. Children are welcome but keep a close watch on them as there are no safety rails or ropes between the dock and the marina waters. There are no lifeguards on duty. I had a wonderful dining experience there and remember to tip the staff well for their good service.

So we finally made it to The Lilly Pad after hearing great things about it! It was wonderful. From the time we arrived the host greeted us and helped us decide where to sit based on our wind preference. Sitting on the water was amazing. Our waitress was helpful and made great suggestions! Our food and drinks were delicious. I spoke with Management and felt like I was being heard. They even have a happy hour!!! I have already recommended this place to several people. I can’t wait to go back to get me a Pain Killer on the happy hour and sit by the water to eat and have conversations. Update: I forgot to add that a storm came through and staff helped move people under the tent to keep dry. Great customer service!
